Nice hotel, clean and safe with spacious rooms. The hot water takes forever to run to the shower. It took nearly 5 to 10 minutes to heat the water up. Otherwise you’re taking the cold shower. Also, the hotel Wi-Fi was down for a few days. I’m sure it was just an anomaly, but it was a nice stay overall.

We chose this hotel because of the pool and were not disappointed. The water was a good temperature for our small children and they had the best time. Lots of seating too. Our room was a great size, clean and extra pillows & blankets were waiting for us, as requested. The staff was great and the hotel was secure. Will come back when in Portland again.

We had a really good stay overall. The pool is very kid friendly though the level of chlorine was very high. We really enjoyed breakfast except for our last morning where the line was super long and every time we got up to the food it was empty. But the other 2 mornings we had no issues. The valet parking was very easy and quick. It is a good location.

Great hotel! Very clean, safety was a top priority among the staff, staff was friendly, parking could not have been easier. Best Hampton inn I’ve ever stayed in by far. They truly went above and beyond.

The lady who manages this hotel in the evening is amazing! She helped me reprogram the air conditioner to get it cooler (which I need to sleep). She was just smart and resourceful and made my stay so much better! I’ve been to this Hampton more than 10 times - always great!

We don't stay in hotels very often at all, we typically can't afford it. So that tells you our budget and mindset when hotel shopping! For my husband's 28th birthday we got tickets to a show at the Moda Center and wanted a hotel that met all our needs. I searched for great price, location close to the public transit and close to the Moda Center, free breakfast and preferably an onsite bar/restaurant. The Hampton in the Pearl District was a total delight!! Met all of our hopes and dreams, twice over. The staff treated us like important people. We decided to splurge on valet parking which was so worth it since we planned on using public transit to get around. You needed your room key to use the elevator which made me feel more safe. The restaurant had amazing food and fun drinks. Our room was so quiet, we felt like the only ones there. The free breakfast was crazy good! We've never had such a great free breakfast at a hotel. Overall, The Hampton in the Pearl District was a big part of what made our Portland stay enjoyable and relaxing. 😁

They were amazing. Our Broadway play was canceled, and we were able to reschedule it for the next day, so they extended our checkout time so we could get ready at the hotel. They also allowed us to leave our cars in the valet parking until after the performance for no extra fee. They were so accommodating.

I cannot express enough my sincere gratitude for everyone working at this hotel. I came to the Hampton after we lost power at my house due to an epic ice storm, which ended up needing to stay for about a week. The entire staff greeted my dog and I with care and concern, making us feel instantly welcome. This coming when they all undoubtedly made a harrowing journey in to get to their shifts. The hotel was flexible if I needed to check out early or extend my stay depending on when power came back on as well, truly showing they cared for those staying. The bar/restaurant staff were amazing, becoming fast friends. Many of the staff came out to meet my dog and make sure he got his daily dose of pets as well. All of this on top of a well maintained property that has all the things you could need in a hotel and more. Would recommend to anyone coming to Portland.

The breakfast is fantastic. A variety for sure. Our stay was what we expected and more. Only downfall is the water pressure in the sink was very slow and the drains were slow to flow. But nonetheless, a great place to stay. Thank you.

First time studying at a Hampton Inn. We had a last minute function in Portland and I booked the Hampton for the location . We were pleasantly surprised at every aspect. The staff was professional and welcoming, the gym was well appointed and the rooms comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

This was our first time visiting Portland, and our hotel experience really set the tone for the trip. Piper (at reception) specifically went above and beyond, and all staff we interacted with were both helpful and friendly.

Overall a nice property and good service, only downside is they we're putting away the breakfast a half hour before the meal time ended. I'm not big into food waste or unneeded effort, so I understand letting hot food items run out near the end of a meal. However, putting away packaged or single use items (bagels, fruit, remaining hot items, etc) PRIOR to the end of the meal time is both silly and rude. Especially that early, 5 minutes; wrong but sure. A half hour out of a 2 hr time frame?! Imagine showing up after booking two queens and getting a queen and a twin, because that's what this 25% off is.

Great rooms and amenities! Definitely worth the price. We relaxed deeply. These free breakfasts are so wasteful though it’s heartbreaking. I’d love to see washable tableware again and actual glassware in rooms. Shower was a bit odd and shower head was not great. And some mildew present. Bathrobes for trips to the pool would be lovely.
