No coat hooks on ANY wall. Nowhere to toss sweatshirts or jackets when you walk in. Just a small cabinet with coat hangers in a far corner. No blackout curtains in the windows. No soundproofing, I could hear conversations next door and in the hallway. Gaps in front door let light in. Bathroom has a clear glass opaque door. At night when you turn on the bathroom light, it lights up the ENTIRE room! . How can you use it at night and not wake anyone up. Its a 4.person room. Bathroom door takes a huge tug to open with both hands. Some ginourmously heavy barn styke door and hirt my wrists to open? Bathroom fan has no off switch and is terribly loud even with the bathroom door closed. The slide out trundle couch is beyond uncomfortable. Took me about 10 minutes to find and finally heave open the cabinet door with the mini fridge, no labeling or anyhing. There is hardly enough light fixtures to see anything in the room. So dark! Shampoo,conditioner, and body wash are community bottles! Who puts what bodily fluids in those and expects the next person to use it? Gross. Swimming g pool is smaller than the hot tub. No vending machines, just a couple refrigerators with snacks in the main lobby so from the 3rd floor at night you have to go all the way to the cold lobby, talk to the recept to buy a bag of candy. Who designed this hotel should be fired. Hire me as a consultant. No water pitcher, ice bucket was cracked. Only 2 blankets for and 5 pillows for a room for 4 p

The staff was nice but it would’ve been a good idea to warn us about the ice in the parking lot. Almost fell and with toddler and baby it was scary! We are not from the area so aren’t use to that. The room was nice except there was a cherry odor kind like when you get your car cleaned, we think it may have been to cover up urine smell since we stayed in a pet room. Also our bed box spring was making a rickety sound by the slightest movement of the bed drove me nuts. The pillows also had no support at all. I wish there has been a way to adjust the direction of the fan blowing out hot/cold air, it was directed straight to the bed which is great for summer months but uncomfortable when it kicked off in the night and woke us up.. For the amount of money that we payed it just didn’t meet my standard, and no where upon booking did it say there was a pet fee.. would’ve been nice to know before completing the reservation.

I really was happily surprised with the location, cleanliness, and overall look of the hotel. Parking is $10 per day which is not covered thru the Expedia booking-so beware! The walk to downtown Truckee is about 1 mi and involves a pretty steep incline on the way back to the hotel. Also, no sidewalks. Due to the weather, we chose to drive to downtown. Breakfast highlight-make your own Waffle! But other than that the breakfast provides the basics: boiled & scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, oatmeal, few bread options, and beverages. It’s not great, but it does the job. Room cleaning was not offered for our stay-we stayed two nights. I feel like that service should return (post-covid). Workout room was adequate. Pool is small-about 10x10. And hot tub is about 6 x 6. Pool was not open while we were there. With all that said, we would stay here again-and probably pick a room with a balcony.

Very nice location to stay. Although more coffee for the rooms would be great. I understand the reason not to do daily housekeeping, but making sure guests have plenty of coffee would be ideal.

Good overall, not extraodinary like many other reviews reported. No mentioning anywhere about a $10 fee per day, not on the website used for booking, nor mentioned at check-in. There are no other options to park anywhere, so $10 a day for parking is a given. Pillows are bad, too thin and not good quality. Room and gym are nice overall. Breakfast is decent.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay! The property was well kept and the service was great! The included breakfast was above expectation! The only complaint we had was the thermostat in the bedroom was not stable. The AC was powerful, but not steady. It blasted until the set temperature was reached and then turned off until the temp was well below the set temp.

I was greeted by someone who didn't really "welcome" me she just glared at me and gave me the room key. I asked about the trail to town and she gave me a look and said it was "unsafe". I booked this hotel to walk into town, so that was a bummer. Then the room stunk of cigarette smoke. The next day I'm trying to relax in bed and the maid knocks on the door, I yell loudly "no thank you someone is in here!" she didn't listen and wandered in. Very disturbing as I had paid for the room until 11am but ended up rushing out because I didn't want that experience again! Checking out the women didn't even smile at me or say "good morning" or "how was your stay" she just blurted out "room number" and that ended my stay. Breakfast bar lady was nice but food was disgusting. I felt unwelcome and like I'd just been ripped off $300 for a poor experience. Wish I'd stayed in town so I could have gone out at night without feeling unsafe walking back to the hotel during dark with no shoulder to walk on even.

Everything was great, only drawback was that I was not told about the parking fee and only found out when my card was charged.

Really nice hotel in Truckee/Tahoe area, clean, comfortable bed/pillows, excellent customer service, easy parking and very close to Downtown Truckee for the food scene.

Property seemed new & well maintained but beware of hidden fees. Upon check-in I was charged an extra, suprise fee of $100 "pet fee" for a 1 night stay along with a $10 parking fee. Not worth the price to stay here. Would go elsewhere- at least post fees upfront.

They have a surprise $10 "parking fee". This is just a simple increase in the room price that is hidden until you either read small print or check out. This is insulting.

Property is new so it's in good condition.

Great location, friendly staff, nice lobby and very spacious and clean room. The room was available so they allowed us to do very early check-in after traveling. We greatly appreciated it.

The only thing I didn’t like was the parking fee of$10 a day. I have never paid a parking fee specifically where parking isn’t an issue. Here, there was an abundance of parking and they were still charging. Due to that, I may think twice.

Great stay for a summer weekend at Tahoe

Clean and safe property. I was surprised that they charged for parking on top of the already high end nightly rate of $350 a night! Breakfast for the room rate, was very average and more in keeping with a Hampton Court or Super 8 tier. However it must be noted that the woman running breakfast had great pride in keeping the area clean and replenished.

Accommodations, cleanliness, employees were all top shelf! Our room backed up to I-80, traffic noise was non-existent.

Everyone on staff was extremely friendly. The property and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a great selection and was very fresh. I would stay here over and over.

Would stay again.
