The property was exquisitely renovated to bring back its old world charm. Beautiful grounds, rooms, and amenities. The pace is relaxed while the service is warm and attentive. A place to get away with friends and family.

Beautiful property with small cottage charm.

Amazing room in the garden cottage. Very cozy fireplace , quiet and a short walk to dinner. Concierge Alessia S was outstanding and made our stay even better. Dinner at Lillians was fantastic as was our waiter Sam. Overall 5 stars and we will be back.

Absolutely incredible property! Charming!

Everything would have been excellent, except the on site restaurant was closed for renovations. Local alternatives were also closed for the 4th of July holiday.
The grounds and accommodations are excellent!

Property is under construction with few amenities. Property should either not take guests until construction is finished, or splash room prices to adjust guest expectation. We paid $600 total for 1 night, &250-$300/ night is more appropriate with current conditions.
2.0
When we booked we were not aware of the large renovation going on which eliminates may amenities such as restaurants, bar, lobby, etc. Construction was noisy and then we found out the night before that water was being shut off at 8am the next morning for possible the whole day. Beautiful setting in village but the property is out dated and needs a major renovation.

the hotel is not ready to offer service commensurate to the cost of stay and hotel grounds. The numerous issues encountered e.g. remodeling work awakening guests at 8 am, dirty room and room not serviced and worse yet a hotel staff that seemed annoyed that these issues were brought to their attention responding with "sorry, but there is nothing I can do about that."

Very expensive for what you received

Fantastic hotel with incredible, hands on service. Highly recommended!

Very quaint. However, there should be more lighting on the property. A map of the town would be helpful

Property undergoing renovations, room finishings and fixtures incomplete. Hotel rate higher than local averages for amenities and condition of property.

Beautiful grounds. Musty rooms. Front desk moved us to another room which was nice. Food was just okay for the price. We will not go again.

The staff was efficient and helpful. The grounds, the main building, and the room were all lovely and peaceful. I particularly liked how our room was decorated in a very classic manner. We were able to use the fireplace and deeply relax. Walking less than five minutes to get dinner and breakfast was also enjoyable.

The place was beautiful, but all was tainted by an awfully bad service. The staff is a joke, zero professionalism. Dulce, the manager, did everything to ruin our stay.
Piece of advice, go there, look around and move on. NOT WORTH THE STAY

My boyfriend and I had a great time overall. Rancho Santa Fe is so beautiful and the hotel grounds is gorgeous, especially the lawn area with the beautiful rows of flowers. The cottages have quite a special historic charm. However, the room I stayed in was very dated. It had raised foundation with uneven flooring that was very noisy. The fridge was dripping water, so that's the sound we heard all night trying to go to bed. The mattress was too soft - this may be subjective to each their own, but it gave both of us back and neck pain for 2 days after the trip. The pictures online looked nicer than the actual room I stayed in, and this was a special occasion for my boyfriend's birthday, so I felt a little bad it wasn't as nice as he expected. The woman at check in had a little attitude, but the man at check out was very friendly. Overall, I enjoyed the trip, but I had higher expectation for this hotel.

Wonderful as always. the service is always great and the restaurant is *actually* good.

Rancho Santa Fe is a prestigious neighborhood and The Inn has historically been an exclusive venue. Unfortunately The Inn is no longer what it used to be: it is tired and needs significant TLC to restore the place to its former glory. the Ranch deserves better !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Inn. It exhibits all of the charm that old Rancho Santa Fe and The Covenant are known for. The ambiance was perfect, the breakfast on the terrace was delicious and perfectly served. We would absolutely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel that integrates very uniquely right into the little cute town. Grounds are emasculate. Walls are a little thin.

Beautiful property, good service. The room was overpriced for what it was. Still, we had a great time.

We liked most everything about our stay and the room. We made a fire every night with provided logs.We didn't like that the hotel was a bit spread out and on different levels making it a trudge to get to the desk or t he restaurant for us seniors. Also didn't like that the room wasn't made over for our last night. We called the desk for fresh towels and soap.

Loved the location. We had a couple issues with our unit that were addressed quickly.

Beautiful property. Quaint Rancho Sante Fe villlage. Only downside was they put us in a room next to a load street. Room had lots of street noise.
