Lake house was comfortable and quiet.

Internet was slow, fire alarm intermittent beeps. Staff was pleasant and took care of issues

We loved the view from the property and it was peaceful and quiet even though the action was just steps away. So nice not to have to move the car unless you wanted to leave the area. Only improvement to the Lakehouse to suggest would be to add exhaust fans to the bathrooms.

From the pictures, I had expected water front hotel. This was not. We had a decent stay, but nothing to rave about. Was close to everything down town. Parking situation was ideal!

Could use a few updates to bathrooms (fans!) and better pillows. Disappointing that the bar is so advertised in online stuff but closed apparently for good.

Lovely property and staff. Affiliated with a larger hotel. Room itself was very run down. Paint chipped. Flickering lights. Just needs a refresh.

Very nice property, the shower was a little tough to use but once you were able to put it on it was good

Pictures of the property are pretty misleading. It's not right on the lake. It's in the middle of town. Also no microwave in the rooms, silly complaint but for $500 a night you would think it would have one.

We've been staying in this building every summer for 25 years. Rooms are small but we don't mind because of the wonderful views and the proximity to town. However, the building is very much in need of some TLC, even after it was updated several years ago. Peeling paint, dirty carpets, hair in bathtub, public rooms dusty, dirty floors, patio and patio furniture filled with old, dried grass clippings, old dog feces in lawn in front of patio, restraunt menu limited and odd. Hotel lobby is still comfortable but getting aged. Complimentary champagne at check-in and afternoon cookies do not make up for it. All staff members were wonderful. Just not worth the $400+ price point. Save up and go to the Mirror Lake Inn.

I was skeptical given some of the others reviews, but I noted they were from 5 years ago. I found our room to be clean, freshly redone/painted, and the building in great condition. An easy walk to downtown. Parking here was easy and convenient. Great views! It was early season and the grounds had not yet gotten their spring spruce up. My only criticism is that the in-room coffee was not up to me standards. I would definitely stay there again.

Very warm welcome by the front desk staff. Very personable and thoughtful. Greeted us with a glass of champagne. Extremely accommodating.

Great location - a bit rundown though & lacking charm.

Location was perfect

The room was a great size and had a great view. The beds were comfortable. However we found that the plugs on the lamps didnât hold our plugs too well, and I couldnât figure out the coffee maker. Other than that it was great stay. Not enough outlets if both people have medical equipment and electronic devices.

This is a no-frills sister hotel to the High Peaks. I was hoping for more High Peaks quality, though. The tub was dirty and old and the pool area really needs some work. All in all, the kids had fun and it was the price we needed for an overnight hockey tournament stay.

Just besides the Mirror Lake. Plenty of space in the room. Old bathroom with cracked sink and rust.

The location of the property is fantastic. The room was small and not very clean as far as the bathroom. There was no microwave in the room so all the food we brought for evenings was useless. The biggest problem was the amenities. The water sports are the reason we stayed but they were only available from 9:30am- 5:30 being last trip out on one.It is light out until 9 so donât understand why watersports end so early. And why they donât open at 7 or 8 if you canât go out on them in the evening. Pool table couldnât be used in the evangelist because the balls were stuck and they only lit the outdoor fire 1 night we were there. So, there is nothing to do evenings on the prperty for families but sit in your room and it was not a nice looking room at all.

Location is good. I was able to see lake from from room. They provided 45 mins kayaking and paddle boat with no extra charge. However room were pretty expensive. There are other hotels in the area with cheaper prices.

Great room, close to everything, wonderful view!

The hotel is still short staffed post-COVID (per check in statements to us) and the staff on hand ranged from friendly to rude. My friend had a bike accident so we needed a late check-out and even offered to pay for an extra night, but they insisted we leave to the point of calling the room and being very rude. It seemed to be hotel cleaning staff that had an issue with us being late, as the parking lots and hotel were empty so there clearly were not other guests coming in. Really unfortunate that they couldn't be polite and more considerate, particularly given the bike accident. I am sure the hotel management would want their family treated better under similar circumstances.

Unfortunately, I was unable to stay the night at this property due to an emergency situation and was not issued a refund. It was difficult to have a person to person conversation about this through Expedia. I feel the all or nothing approach to not issuing refunds (on the part of the hotel and Expedia) is not great customer service.

Very nice view and location . It is dated . Color scheme in room looks like a funeral home viewing room . Carpet is old . But overall clean in room. Exterior hallways carpet very dated worn and walls very dated in color . Check in lady at counter was very friendly. Gated parking is very good !

I never got the confirmation or any information that i was staying here. All of sudden I get an email and a charge asking me how my stay was when I never been here. SCAMM

Room much smaller than picture. Uncomfortable old wooden chairs in room. Bedside light did not work. Fireplace in lobby did not work. They care more about the other hotel across the street. WAY over priced!

Unique lake decor and very clean especially during Covid.

Unfortunately, due to Covid felt like facility was very sterile which was understandable. Wish gas fireplace was lit. In our facility lobby and restaurant was not open.
