Great location and staff. We are returning 1 more night to stay ahead our intrantional flight home.

This was a great location on Gran Via (although it comes with some noise in the evenings/mornings). Overall great value with no real complaints. I think the biggest opportunity for the hotel is to improve the buffet breakfast as we got tired of it after 2 days and decided to eat elsewhere. Limbo and Arturo were great at the roof top bar. Eduardo and Javier were also superb and they did an exceptional job during check-in but also making us feel at home everyday.

Great place in such a wonderfully Central place. I do wish it had a pool or gym. But the staff is great and it is a classic. I enjoy the old world feel of luxury.

Definitely not a 4 star. My friends were staying at the Vincci down the block and that is a true 4 star. This hotel was so outdated. Rooms smelled like old cigarettes and they had ashtrays everywhere but stated “no smoking” everywhere. ??? Make it make sense. The “rooftop” bar was non existent. Went up at 9pm one of the nights and there was no one there. The AC/Heater sucked. I was either cold or drenched in sweat. Super overpriced for what you’re getting. Yeah great location but definitely not a 4 star hotel, I’d give it a 2-3 stars max.

Good clean hotel.
Stuffs are very friendly. Location is excellent. Worth for your money

A proper hotel with beautiful exterior and interior. It's been there for quite a long time, in the busy Gran Via, but the rooms are modern and functional incl. heating (essential in December), a fridge, foreign (ENG GER FR) language TV-channels, etc. I was missing a kettle but it would have been provided had I asked.
I would recommend to opt for the in-house breakfast because of the good choice of items, even gluten free bread (available by request). One can decide from day to day to have it or not, for a reasonable fee.

This hotel is highly recommended. I stay here every time I visit Madrid. Very good location, service and cleanliness. People that work here are fantastic.

Hotel very well placed on the centre of the busiest start in Madrid, close to everything including the metro. Hotel was well insolated, so no traffic noise. Lovely buffet breakfast, nice rooftop lounge/ bar with free tea/ coffee

Excellent, comfortable room. Elegant hotel perfectly located in Madrid's Gran Vía, served by friendly personnel. Highly recommended

Quiet, lovely room and hotel. Right on a main street full of shops and places to eat. 7 min walk from Chueca, the area to go for bars. Within walking distance of sights but right on top of metro if needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff. Quiet and clean hotel. Spacious room with great soaking tub to relax in after a busy day in a beautiful city. Breakfast was amazing!

We stayed overnight in weekend. The stuff was nice and friendly, and the service was great.
The room was clean with a bathtub which made us very happy.
It’s located on Gran Via which seems one of the main streets and very convenient for shopping & restaurants.
However, the room was SO hot and AC wasn’t working (because it’s winter according to the front desk) so the only choice we had, after we turned off oil heaters in the room, was to open the window. Then it got very noisy with cars, sirens and protesters. Our room was on 8th floor! (Top floor) We repeatedly opened and closed windows every 30 min most of the night.
If you want good night sleep, you need ear plugs or a room not facing Gran Via.

Very nice and safe place

Like many places, this hotel has one step at the entrance.
Therefore it is impossible for a person on wheel chair to get in and out freely. We had to ask an attendant to set a mobile ramp each time we wanted to make a move.
On the other hand, we got a room with a special bathroom adapted for people with disability, we appreciate this effort.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the city action. We had an interior room which was perfect for us as it cut down on the city noise. The rooftop area has stunning views and the breakfast buffet is wonderful.

Couldn't ask for a better location in Madrid, the Metro is literally across the street. Although there was plenty going on around the Gran Via in any case.
Room was fine, staff friendly and helpful. Lounge area on the ninth floor is very nice, and the outdoor terraces well worth a visit if the weather is good.

Hotel Atlantico Madrid is probably the best over all hotel in downtown Madrid, the staff is very friendly and professional, the location is in the very heart of gran via Madrid’s must walkable street the breakfast is reasonable in price and has all the goods for breakfast without excess, I have staying at Hotel Atlantico since 1991 great place to make your home in Madrid

The property was well maintained, rooms are very spacious and the property is in a good location; however, very crowded to the point we felt we were in NYC Times Square.

Excellent location close to everything

This Hotel has an ideal location with an average intercontinental breakfast and excellent service.
Rooms are smaller than average - and, by consequence, the queen size bed - and, the ones who have a balcony, are not smoke-free

Wonderful classic hotel in central Madrid. Wonderful place of Apres drinks in terrace. Perfect for a short or long stay.

Stay was great and amazing. Thought that property might be old and tacky but it was nice. Toilet was amazing. Probably the best I’ve ever had among other hotels I’ve stayed. Kudos to the housekeeping team that makes the room SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. Wardrobe area was great too. Sufficient space to hang our clothes felt like in a walk in wardrobe. However, I chose this property for its VIP ACCESS perks but I received NOTHING. Had to pay for the water that was in the room too. No room upgrade, no discounts was given for the water we had as well. Staff weren’t the friendliest. They looked at us as thou we are from other planet. Not much of warmth welcome as well. Maybe cus they are all old grumpy male staff. Had to point out the most chubby staff that did our check in. No explanation at all during our check in, he just asked for our passports and 5 mins later he just gave us our room card and that’s it. Overall, room and location was great but not the staff and service. Hence, the 1 missing star.
