Although DC is expensive in general, the value of our stay at the Fairmont was excellent! We were well taken care of, and our family enjoyed the pool, our lavish room and the extremely kind and helpful staff. Thanks for a great stay during the Cherry Blossom Festival!

The hotel in our room was extremely clean and well kept. The food was really good and all of the staff were very polite. Came here with my family and I’ll definitely come back.

Motel overbooked and we had no room. They did provide a room across the street that was far less accommodating and expensive and we did not receive a refund. I would not use Hotels again as this was a terrible experience as we had a late night check in and I contacted the hotel earlier on the day to confirm our room.

Property is still very nice, but the overall experience has gone down hill a bit. No restaurant for dinner or ability to get room service. The location of the hotel makes that challenging - had to order GrubHub two nights to eat since there isn't a lot around there. There was also some trash in the room when I checked in. Nothing shocking, but didn't align with how I understand the Fairmont historically.

Fairmont
DC is quickly becoming my favorite spots to return to whenever I can find the time. I decided to stay at the Fairmont this time around based on the amazing reviews.
Pros:
-Quiet! (Almost too quiet…?)
-Safe
-The best doorman/valet ever!
-Great location, 15 minute walk to Georgetown and 7 minute walk to my favorite coffee shop
-Spacious Rooms
-Le Labo toiletries :)
-Free access to the gym (An actual membership gym under the lobby)
Cons:
-Cloudy water??
-Wifi is not free
-Dustiness in some areas of the rooms (I stayed in two different rooms during my stay)
-Decor in rooms were a little dated
-Bar/lobby pretty much desolate at night, no nightlife feel/ events (this could be because the restaurant Juniper doesn’t do dinner service?)
Overall, I really appreciated how quiet and safe the hotel felt, but with some of the cons I mentioned, I don’t think my stay was worth the price I paid.

Excellent assistance from the front desk. We weren’t getting more than warm water from the shower and hadbti first run it for approximately five minutes. The front desk sent a repair person to the room and within 30 mins, he had changed a part and we had hot water after a few minutes.
The wait staff in the lounge area provided prompt service and the lounge was a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing place to hang out.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Plenty of towels and quality bathroom amenities.
Liked having access to a full gym.

I stayed in one of the newly remodeled suites and it was absolutely beautiful. It felt like my home away from home. The Fairmont is my go to hotel whenever I travel to D.C.

I overall loved my short and sweet stay at the Fairmont. It is a beautiful property that smells amazing, and is very clean. I did not get a chance to try out the bar or the restaurants, but they looked lovely. My bed was comfortable, and the room was huge! I loved the Le Labo toiletries. My only complaint was that I found old contacts (not mine, must have been the previous guest's), stuck to the wall in the shower. My hand happened to graze the wall and they got stuck to me, which was unpleasant. My room was otherwise spotless. Otherwise, great stay and I would definitely recommend!

Had a great stay at this hotel. Had previously stayed at a cheaper hotel nearby, and Fairmont Georgetown was so much better. Gym and pool were great, dining options abound and parking along the street was free and easy. The desk agent, Syed, even gave us helpful tips on our next journey to Canada. The only concern is that hallway carpet seemed to be coming up a bit, and could be a future hazard. Otherwise, great stay.

Amazing location. Beautiful property. Nice, neat and clean. Wonderful staff who were very helpful and nice. Would highly recommend and would stay again! Had drinks at the bar that were great! Try the potato vodka dirty martini! So good!

The service at this hotel is amazing. We were stranded by United without luggage and the staff took good care of us by getting toothbrushes and combs for us etc. I appreciate their clean dedication to being as environmentally friendly as possible.
