Was amazing experience

Fresh baked cookies daily with hot chocolate, hit apple cider and coffee all day long. Good complimentary breakfast as well.

All the staff were exceedingly kind and helpful- Jamal, OD- EVERYONE- housekeeping, breakfast prepping, the young man emptying the trash barrels who made sure we got the hot water we wanted. An amazing team!

The woman that checked me out was fantastic. Very kind and friendly.
Did not have the same experience when we checked in. The young man couldn’t find our reservations after giving him our name 3 times. Just handed me our room keys - didn’t even tell us what our room nbr was, anything about the property / breakfast. Very unprofessional.

The room was not cleaned during our two night stay even though we left the room early and at 3 pm advised no service provided. Towels were provided at 10 pm on the day in question . One needed a detective agency to find anyone at the front desk . The breakfast service was the highlight of the experience the staff there friendly . The elevator to the room was either out of service or used by staff to shuttle supplies . The Marriott next store a better option . Hampton usually a wise choice but this one needs competent management - disappointing experience . I am a frequent traveler domestic and internationally

We really enjoyed this hotel, rooms are very clean and it’s a very nice environment. However, when housekeeping didn’t arrive, I approached one of the housekeepers and asked her if she was going to get to our room that day. She responded sharply telling me, that housekeeping is only available on request, and I was not on the list. She also told me that they would have told me that at check-in. Which, of course they did not tell me that at check-in. I didn’t feel that her bad attitude was necessary. And I just want to forewarn everyone to request housekeeping. Apparently they do not touch your room unless you ask them to when you check in. Otherwise, this day was very nice.

I liked how new and updated it was and how closel to Newport it was located. The front staff was exceptionally friendly. The breakfast was better than i expected with fresh fruit yogurt parfaits as well as bluberry scones.

In general, we had a lovely stay. Perhaps, we will avoid bookings on line rooms that state that they have for instance 2,3 4 or even 5 rooms left. we would not like to be caught with another room that had certain problems in it like the biggest one was our faucet our bathroom faucet in the tub. It would not shut off properly and when I called in for service it was done, but not in a very apologetic way. Also, there was mould on the left hand corner of room 130 close to the bed area. We didn’t bother to complain but at the same token this was a room that cost us over $500 Canadian. Maybe this is something you can look into.

My rate was increased without my knowledge. This was unprofessional and extremely disappointing as I did not find out until I saw the receipt emailed to me after my stay!!! The breakfast was disappointing, had to go out for breakfast both mornings as my teenage sons wouldn’t eat anything there.

Only in the bath room they can change the position of the handle-bar to a different location. My husband fell down turning to grab the handle-bar which was located near the shower head.

Room was clean and comfortable. Less than 10mins from Newport without the Newport price. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area

Arrived 2:30. Unable to check in due to hotel computers down. Had wedding at 4pm we missed because they finally did a manual paper checkin at almost 4pm. Others in same d as situation Terrible check in experience! The could have done manual paper check in operation schedule but refused. Never again in this chain!

WiFi was EXCELLENT, and I had to work, so that was important. Staff were friendly and competent, and there were ENOUGH staff so people didn't have stand in line for long to check in or out... also important!!! Bed and linens clean and comfy.
