The hotel was fine. Room was clean. Staff were very nice. Internet connection was spotty. We were woken up by alarm clock in next room that wasn't turned off for an hour. Don't understand the rave reviews and the higher cost compared to other hotels.

Room was beautiful, great relaxing space. Only issue was that room above us started leaking in to ours at around 11:30 pm. Staff was very responsive though.

This was a late Valentine's getaway, and overall, we had a fantastic stay. The hotel is in a great location, and we were easily able to walk to the shops in downtown Lancaster, as well as dinner at Coffin Bar. It was relatively easy to find and had ample parking.
We stayed in a king loft room. It was so spacious, I'd almost describe it as cavernous, but it somehow still managed to be cozy. I was originally worried about the tub being out in the room - I thought we'd feel exposed - but the hotel did a great job of sort of blocking it off. The tv can be swiveled so you can watch while soaking, which I thought was a nice touch.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower has fantastic water pressure and I really liked that they provided a special black washcloth for make-up.
I can't say enough good things about the service, both in the hotel proper and at the hotel bar. I was pleasantly surprised at how robust the offerings were for continental breakfast.
My only complaints are very, very small and should not hinder a decision to stay here, but since it was a much more expensive hotel than I'd normally stay in, I think they bear mention. There is only one elevator and it is very slow. The vending machines were broken during our stay and a sign said the front desk had snacks to buy and they did not. The in-room coffee was awful, the should replace with keurigs.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again. We had an absolutely lovely time with great accomodations.

Very nice, rooms are amazing good vibes

Huge room, King Deluxe that in other cities is hundreds more per night. A deal midweek for like 150 for two with nice Edible breafast

Better than average hotel. I was surprised that a hotel that emphasizes art actually had very little in the room. The room was quite small and one of the fixtures was broken which meant you were always coming into a dark area near the door. Free parking is good and an easy walk to town, which is what we were looking for. But, we were expecting something more unique than it turned out to be.

Excellent restaurant within the hotel and extremely accommodating staff. Third time visiting the Arts Hotel and I’ll be back.

Beautiful place with tons of artsy vibes! Absolutely loved our room, we had the suite with the big bath tub definitely large enough for two people! Everyone was extremely helpful and polite! Only thing I would recommend they do is hire more help during the complimentary breakfast. It was too much for one person during the busy hours. Other than that nothing bad to say, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Loved our overnight stay at Lancaster Arts Hotel! Very convenient to downtown with no extra hotel parking fee and lots of dining options close by. Wonderful atmosphere in the hotel and very comfortable; the shower was great. A red rosebud as part of the turndown service was a pleasant surprise. Would happily to stay here again.

Unlike any other hotel I've been to. The art theme is carried through all aspects of the hotel including a sketch pad in every room. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent. In my opinion the best in the city.

We liked the overall appearance and staff courtesy. However, there were areas that need IMMEDIATE attention. For example, the did not see any obvious EXIT or direction signs (on the second floor) for the Elevator; we passed its location several times. This would have been a hazard, if we needed to evacuate the building during a fire or other emergency! The room was COLD, not matter how we set the thermostat; we managed to get the room warmed up before going to bed, but during the night the temperature plummeted! We froze! Also, the TV remote did not turn the TV on/off! We had to figure out how to turn it on manually (many people would not have been able to do this!). Finally, breakfast was not ready, as advertised, we (and several other guest) waited unit almost 8:30 A.M. to be admitted to the room. There were no pancakes, only cold hard boiled eggs, as few pastries, toasts/muffins, coffee, cold cereal and yogurt. All-in-all, we expected MUCH better accommodations, especially heat-wise! I would look into the EMERGERNCY and DIRECTION signs IMMEDIATELY, as this is a safety violation! Thank goodness we didn't have to evacuate the room in the dead of night!

Internet coverage isn't the best and the first room I checked into had a messy bed, which I didn't want to know what when on in it, but they were great with switching my room out.

Great property we would definitely stay there again. The bed in the master was quite possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept.

Charming interior walls, hallways and rooms! Beautiful wooden staircase from the lobby to higher floors. We sure liked looking at the art works hanging on the walls. Rooms with high ceilings are very attractive. The breakfast was just not the highlight.

This was not the experience I expected. I read it was a luxury hotel and it was definitely not that. My bathroom had hair all over it. Looked like they didn’t clean it. The blinds and furniture were dusty and the sheets had holes in them. Very disappointed. I know it must be hard to get good employees, but why even bother. Also, the unbelievably slow elevator rattles and shakes. A wee bit unnerving. If I were the owners I would be spot checking and managing your people a little better.

Hotel has an artsy theme and does this well. Rooms are clean and comfortable and location is close to restaurants, coffee shops and retail. Bar and Restaurant on premises are great!

Everyone was very friendly. Comfortable room and appreciated the little touches like the rose, candies and water. Very nice! Dinner was really good in the restaurant.

There are no microwave in the rooms nor refrigerators. The microwave that you can use you have to ask to use it. It is just inconvenient. The rooms are expensive.

Love this hotel and the staff is amazing! Although we were disappointed that the whirlpool is actually just a large bathtub, we still enjoyed our 2nd stay at this place and definitely will be back. No other place like it with the beautiful brick walls, cool art everywhere and the softest beds ever.

The hotel is really beautiful. I love the room that we stayed in. One of the lights in the room was broken didn't work but I never let them know

Hotel was in a historic building, lots of character.

Bed was soft enough that my husband and I kept rolling towards the middle. Room air system had a constant hum which whistled all night. Perhaps it’s designed to conceal the traffic noise from right outside, but to have a constant note playing in your room all night is distracting and irritating. Bathroom surfaces were clean but there were water streaks all down the lower parts of the wall and the floor needs a good scrubbing.

Great location, lots of walkable shops and restaurants. Easy to get Uber to and from if you want to go further. Room was clean and nice.

Loved the hotel overall, the ambiance and theme were better than I expected. It was clean and the service was great. the hand delivered long stem rose and chocolates on check in day were also a nice touch ; my only complaint is regarding the bed, which needed to be updated and unfortunately didn't allow for a be best night's rest.

Really can’t assess the categories as we were bumped for our anniversary weekend from a center of city location due to … “a plumbing issue “ … that seemed to not effect the guests who were part of a wedding group. Hmmmm. Although we were refunded and relocated to an outside the center of city limits - it was a huge disappointment. The hotel reception staff … Nicole … did as best she could to help us. She was professional apologetic and helpful getting us transferred. Just a big disappointment though as one might think.

Checkin was easy and front desk folks were pleasant. Made it my 5th floor loft studio with my daughter. The room seemed clean and at first glance it was promising. Only wanted a room for the hot tub and self pampering. About an hour in we both had headaches and thought maybe we were hungry. My daughter did her hot tubbing while I tried 7 times to call for room service. It took 20 minutes roughly to get anyone to answer - we ordered simple dishes and they arrived without much wait. Food was delicious. We switched and I got in hot tub. I could only stay in for about 10 min because my headache was worse and I felt sick. I got out and noticed an awful smell. We couldn’t figure out where it came from and now both of us felt dizzy and sick. We originally thought the smell was coming from outside but it got increasingly bad like the plumbing was leaking! I walked into the bathroom and was hit with an overpowering smell. I told my daughter to clean up and get dressed we were leaving or changing rooms. Called front desk and they sent someone up with new room keys. We had to downgrade rooms and were told that they had “flushed the lines earlier today” and that’s why the smell. By this time I kept dropping my phone as I had serious vertigo and felt awful. I just wanted to leave but we took the changed room and we drank tons of water in hopes of feeling better. The next room seemed clean but there was damage to ceiling and it was a much smaller bed (Queen?) bathrobe had holes in it.
