Room was odd shape and with a/c unit in location that could not provide air to sleeping area. Room was right next to front desk & also Accessible…not requested nor informed of at time of booking. Room was fairly worn and definitely overpriced.

Upon first arrival the hotel was not what I had expected. It was very dark outside in the parking lot and around the outside of the hotel. The inside was also on the dark side. There are people that live in the hotel it seems and it is VERY hodge hodge.. including a camouflage microwave haha. My 9 year old said it seemed like we were at grandmas house. (I'd agree with the review saying it is like a retirement center turned hotel) Our room was over the restaurant which at first I was happy about so I didn't have to worry about my kids running around. But we got to listen to the very loud music at a party in the restaurant for hours at night. The room was clean enough so that was nice. Bed and pillow were rock hard. People outside of the hotel talking at night sounded like they were inside our hotel room. There was a big gap under the front door so we could hear everything in the hallway and room Nextdoor. Thankfully we brought a sound machine which made it so my kids could sleep. I kept thinking I'd never stay here again until I went to visit with friends at Casablanca hotel and it REAKED of cigarette smoke. It actually made me more thankful to go back to our hotel. Ha! So, maybe for Mesquite it's fine. If there weren't other smoke free option in Mesquite then I'd stay here again just for that fact. I hate giving this review because there isn't much about it that's nice. But I guess that's how I'd say our stay was.

Appears to be a retirement home that was transformed into a hotel. Furniture and decor was very dated. Rooms were dark. Looked like straight out of the 70’s. Breakfast was not included. In-house restaurant food was poor. Rooms were way over-priced. Outdoor pool was ice cold.

The shower was in shambles. Looked like it had been broken and tried to fix with sealant. Did not look clean at all.

I was shocked by how roomy our hotel room was. It was really an apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. The apartment itself was a little outdated, but we didn't mind. Everything was clean. The staff was friendly. One pool was a decent temperature (the other was quite cold), and the hot tub was hot. I used the gym facilities and found them adequate. We enjoyed working on the puzzle that was in the hall outside of our room. Overall a great stay and we would be happy to stay here again.
