It was an amazing stay at a beautiful property great to take advantage of the hot tub and Lane pool. The EV charging was an added bonus, and appreciated to start the day with a full charge.

Was amazing, only thing I would say is hotels.com advertises free parking when you book as a silver member but hotel did not honour. And they don’t have air conditioning. But besides those two minor things our stay was amazing

Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. Our room was immaculate. The staff are excellent, rooms are spacious, and all the amenities you need are steps away. I’ve stayed here multiple times before, and it has never dissapointed.

Beautiful hotel, location was perfect and I the rooms/suites were great and comfortable. Love how sounds proof everything is and the pool and hot tub was great!! Definitely staying there again !!

Room was terribly cold, hotel brought in portable heater. The did however give us one night credit. The also gave us a free upgrade.

Property is very nice, however, our room was incredibly hot. 26 degrees in the room! Needed all windows and doors open to let air in (in Winter) and it was still hot in the room.

The good: Beautiful building and room. Comfortable bed/sheets. Respectable kitchen in suite. Great pool. Great location. Staff were great, very friendly. The bad: We had to wait half an hour past our check in time because they hadn’t finished cleaning the room. One of the elevators was out of service, they opened up the staff elevator but there were still delays. The room was very warm, the window was open when we went in and it was still 23° with the heat off. We had to open every window and use the provided fans, can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer.

Very cold feeling to room we stayed in. LED lights over kitchen table are harsh white. Walls grey (should be warm color) and everything dark. Many pillows too firm. Very clean with responsive staff on the plus side, along with excellent sleeper couch mattress!

Amazing stay. We were delighted with the suite as it was a great place for our business retreat. The customer service was the best I had experienced, the facilities were ideal and overall it will now be our go to place for work retreats.

Loved the lobby, and the well equipped rooms. The only things i found humour in and surprised me was the low grade of toilet paper, the height of the bed for my old 5 ft.2 frame to get onto and the lack of electronic plug in space near the bed. Very enjoyable stay however.

Our new favourite hotel in Victoria! The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, and when we arrived there was a little birthday gift in our room from the front desk agents who knew that my husband and I were having a celebratory birthday weekend! Absolutely loved our stay at The Parkside and will visit again soon. Thank you Parkside for making my 40th birthday weekend special and memorable!

We really enjoyed our stay here and there are great amenities we learned of when we checked in, such as private movie theatre rentals/snack packages, s’mores packages on the rooftop etc. Really some fun and great (and unexpected) extras available at very reasonable prices. The cafe open late serves wine and appies. Really chill and lovely atmosphere. Room was very nice, even had laundry in it which I didn’t notice in the listing. Bed was super comfortable. Green/eco friendly with no little one time use products which is also appreciated. Staff were friendly and the lobby was SO beautiful. We usually stay right downtown on the Marin street… This is literally a block away so it’s still super close but soooo much quieter sleeping at night than being on main strip. Definitely will stay here again.

Fantastic hospitality. Friendly and accommodating staff. Everything was clean and laid out perfectly in the room. Very pleased with our stay at this hotel. A little light on the bedding, but staff was quick to bring duvets up to the room for us and all was good!

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to downtown Victoria, the inner harbour, Beacon Hill Park and the ocean. The bed was super comfortable with luxurious sheets. Our room had a lovely view of St. Ann Academy and the adjoining green area. There is a swimming pool and gym, as well as a beautiful big lobby with chairs and couches for relaxing. Perfect spot!!

Spacious two bedroom with a great view from living area and bedroom. Only knock would be no room service or on site food options other than a small cafe. Also, explain to guests on the process to stream platforms on the TV. Was able to figure it out however, if a person is not familiar with changing inputs etc it would be a challenge. Overall would stay again.

I normally love staying at the Parkside and would call it my favorite hotel in Victoria. I traditionally use it for my more important meeting destinations. However, this was not a usual trip as I felt toally unwelcome by the manager and very stressed by the communication. The front desk staff and Trufles catering were wonderful as was the City Club lounge! We did check in to a room with a bad odor and the fridge smelled very bad as well. House keeping did their best to clean the fridge but we still didnt feel comfortable storing food so we ate our meals out. We also asked for an extra 30 minutes to check out and was locked out of our room at precisely 11am even though they agreed to the extension. Not our usual experience and was very disappointing. Not sure if we will return.

This hotel is immaculate. It is obvious that it was orignally built to be condos; the rooms are much more like apartments than a hotel room. We were upgraded to a two bedroom room even though it was just my wife and I.The only down side is that the rooms are kinda loud and not well insulated like hotel rooms.We could hear people in the halls and upstairs pretty well. It did not happen often, though

This hotel felt like a top tier luxury location. The rooms were more like mini-suites that included a kitchenette and washer/dryer in the room! The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful.
