Stayed here for two nights while awaiting our flight back to the United States after driving around Costa Rica for two weeks. Room was clean & air conditioning worked well & free breakfast was excellent. Hotel is far enough away from downtown San Jose & the airport that it was not too noisy & we felt safe. If you like to walk, you can walk to the downtown area where the museums are & lots of places to eat, but it is a couple of miles. They have a good parking area for those driving cars.

Some broken fixtures, the faucet on the tub didn't work. Some the towels were dirty... Every day we had to get new cards for the elevator & our room door, not what I expected for a 4 star hotel!!

The hotel is modern, clean, and the kitchen staff are friendly and very accomodating. However, can't say the same about front desk staff; the hotel's policy is to scan the customers passport. This is not done anywhere else in Costa Rica and makes one wonder their reason. Would not recommend walking alone around the area.

Last night of a bimonthly trip to catch some Zs and clean up.
Plus: Speedy check-in, fast room service, safe parking, nice view of the city at night, good pizza, and ample towels.
Minus: Undisclosed room service charges (2 of them) and ice only available on the first floor (a 12 floor property). Lighting in room could have been better.
Bottom line: Yes, we would stay here

Property is in a safe neighborhood, clean, I only had an issue with the AC. It was not working in the fully capacity, it was reported but in my opinion partially repaired. Out of that I will recommend it, staff five plus.

The staff was extraordinary friendly to us. Very welcoming and trying their best to overcome the language barrier between us.
The food at the restaurant was very good for a reasonable price.
A supermarket is nearby, the city center and the Sabana park with museums etc are in walking distance, also with a 5-year old
All in all a perfect start in our vacation.

Property was amazing and the staff spoke English and Spanish. (I don't expect them to speak English). Everything was clean and all of the staff was very attentive and helpful.

The damage deposit collected at checkin was supposed to be 50000 crc which about 100 usd, but they took 200 usd which is over 100000 crc. I killed a roach in my room.

this is our second time staying here. it is very nice, clean and staff is Very Friendly and helpful.
My only negative is the room is very poorly lit. Two of the lamps did not turn on, making it very dark in the evening.

Breakfast, beds, vinyl floors & city views excellent. Our pillows had a urine smell. The front desk phone did not pick up to help with exchanging them so that was not the best night's sleep. Room temperature was hard to control. Would've been great to have a surface beneath the TV in to set things on in the premium room. Location is quiet but far away from city center & sites.

Very good property, nice installations, very well located and accessible to transportation. Very wakable area. The rooms are very confortable and the food in the restaurant is very good too.

Stayed two nights recently and not a bad location. The pool was cool.

Hotel was super clean and up to date. We got the biggest suite. Top floor and great view of the city! All hotel staff were amazing and super friendly. The bathroom was lovely too! Bed was a bit to form for my liking. But I travel with a mattress pad. :) breakfast was included and delicious local flare and the best pineapple preserves I have ever eaten!

Pros:
- Friendly Dining and cleaning staff.
- Spacious room
Cons:
- Wayyyyyyyyyyy too much noise. Friday and Saturday there was loud music blaring well into the night.
- Walls are super thin.
- Disappointing experience with front desk staff while leaving.
- Restaurant food was mediocre.
- Costa Rica has some of the best coffees. Looks like their restaurant decided to not get any of it.

At about $60 a night, this was a great value stay for us. The room was large, comfortable, and even had a nice view of the mountains surrounding the city. There is an outdoor pool and the included buffet breakfast definitely did the trick. The neighborhood is a bit dead at night so possibly not the most safe, but during the day we never felt at all unsafe. It's about a half hour walk into the city center.

noise from buses passing by. Croaker roaches in one room. No accent chair, ottoman and luggage rack in the other room.

Very nice property. Close to market area, easy walk.Staff very friendly and helpful. The only shortcoming is the wifi service - extremely poor which affected TV reception as well. This is very puzzling with the technology of the day. this should be an easy fix however it made the stay difficult.

Overall stay was very good service was excellent apart from one night when the waiter messed up my drinks order and it was never corrected which did annoy me as I paid for them( sorry had to get it of my chest) Apart from this one small think overall the stay was very good
