Wonderful property Room was great To far from the elevator

It is very convenient to walk to restaurants. I wish the gondolas was running the time we went. I wish the parking lot wasnt under construction too.

Great, comfortable stay.

The villas are nice and spacious. It accommodated our family of 8. Loved that it is in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and casinos, and especially the beautiful lake. Staff was courteous and accommodating. The heated pool was a bonus. Overall, enjoyed our weekend stay!

Room had a lot of space

Excellent area lots of shopping, restaurants and activities for kids. The weather was a factor however we were able to enjoy the amenities. Cozy place.

Hands down one of the best if not the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The property was clean and the staff was amazing! I could not say enough nice things about how nice and helpful the staff was. If I could give this property more than 5 stars I would. It’s walkable distance to a beautiful hike as well as all the shops and dining. Will definitely be a go to when visiting Lake Tahoe.

Room was located under large HVAC unit. Room was very noisy and hard to sleep in. Unhappy with the room provided Based on noise.

The only thing I wish they had a restaurant on the property.

I made a reservation on Expedia 30 minutes before we tried to check in. I had the Expedia confirmation number. It was not a confirmation number Marriott recognized. I called the Expedia telephone number, and eventually got to a human from the Philippines after 5 minutes or so. That person said we had a reservation, and would send the info to Marriott. Marriott received no reservation for about 45 more minutes. This was stressful, the Marriott people said don’t use 3rd party companies, they are difficult to work with. Also they had to call the owner of the property (???) to get approval. Not a good experience for one night at $340.

Return stay after many years and surprisingly disappointed. This property is pretty warn out. Our balciny door was broken, street noise was very loud, toipet seat was completely broken off and hanging,. Everything is dates, worn and in need of a facelift. Employees were very friendly.

Fabulous place to stay in South Lake Tahoe with nice amenities such as valet parking, fitness, spa, huge pool area with games. Also, extremely convenient and easy walks to all of the surrounding restaurants, shops, gondola rides, casinos, etc. The staff are so friendly and helpful at the front desk and communication is fabulous via text. Everything we needed was in our condo. Would stay here again.

Our room was quite comfortable, we loved it.

Gondola, shops, dining, gorgeous views, staff. Everything was perfect. Rooms are huge and the kirchen is awesome.

The property is nice but we had issues from the moment we tried to check in. Room was not ready at 4pm. I had to inquire multiple times until the front desk was able to find us a room (at first she indicated it may be another 30 min!). The first room was great until we noticed water flooding the front entry. It appeared that the fridge was leaking. They offered to send maintenance but we opted for another room. Second room was fine until we noticed a very distinct curry smell. Turning the air on helped a little bit it was clear it was gear to stay. No other room was available and they offered to have housekeeping check. It was so late I told them to come back in the morning. The next day they tried air fresheners and an ionic neutralizer and it barely masked the stench. Someone from housekeeping even verified “this is horrendous”. We were only there two nights and while we made the best of our time there (we still had fun!) - the room situation was awful to say the least. There were a few folks who were nice who tried to assist but little could be done to remedy the situation.

The hotel was very clean and very well maintained. Everything from hotel interiors and rooms were par excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the heart of heavenly village with the Gondola immediately as you step out of the hotel.

Perfect spot for a family vacation. The pool is great, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Would definitely return.

Our stay was good! Friendly/helpful staff. Even though it worked for my family, the twin window beds and the sofa bed are very hard and uncomfortable. Valet staff helpful and friendly, but did not send text with instructions to ask for vehicle (even though I was told I could call for my vehicle) until late afternoon on the 22nd. Up until then, valet staff seemed to be annoyed when I called instead of texting (asking me if I received a text)- I had only called twice since check in. Front desk and security took care of my door lock with a dead battery in a timely matter Sunday night.

The condo itself was great and well suited our family! The cons were the location because of noise and inconvenience of getting to it was a bit tricky. Not having any maid service was a bummer. The front desk staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The valet staff was a whole different story, they were very rude and were openly offensive if you didn’t go through the proper process for asking for your car which was very confusing and I witnessed them doing it to other guests as well.

The property was very nice and the included valet parking was an extra bonus. The only problem was that the Expedia confirmation email indicated that the check in time was 3pm while Grand Residence insisted that their check in time was 4pm. The room was not ready until 5pm so we waited for 2 hours while many others received their room. It seemed like those that book with a 3rd party receive the last rooms.

Great property and great location. Friendly staff. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Only negatives was the fact that the “twin beds” advertised were not actually twin beds. They were much shorter and should be listed as such. Also, the pull-out Queen was very uncomfortable. Overall, wonderful stay though.
