Pros: Service is excellent…close proximity to campus and places to eat. Very clean and neat. The water gets nice and hot
Cons: Rooms are college dormish so don’t expect refrigerators or microwave or coffee machine… electrical outlets are also at a minimum and randomly placed.

A short but lovely stay! Beautiful hotel and the room was perfect. The staff was professional, friendly, attentive and smiling. And alert, which is not part for the course anymore. Good people.

I have been to The Study in the past on business and always had a great experience; however, when my business meeting was moved from Jan 24th to Feb 21, I was unable to update my reservation without losing the entire night's charge because it was within the 24 hour policy window. I didn't ask to get my money back, but only to change the date. I am very disappointed that an exception could not have been made, especially since I will be traveling monthly to Philadelphia for the foreseeable future. If this review is taken into consideration, I am open to hearing back from someone to resolve. I can be reached at 301-980-1451. Otherwise, I suppose I will have to find another hotel that understands better events that are outside of my control. Thank you for your consideration.

While booking my reservation, I was not warned about the breakfast option as not available due to the holidays. We as a family had to starve for the 2 days of stay for our breakfast. If hotels take vacations then we need not.

Very nice stay - Warren was really friendly. Parking was a bit tricky, but the parking valets did a great job. The room was comfortable and clean.

We were excited to stay at the hotel. Loved the atmosphere when you walked in. Super close to Drexel. However, upon entering the room, one of the women in our party went to hang her coat in the closet, only to have the closet door fall off its track. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned and all the phones had been unplugged. We were moved to another room which needed some attention. There were scratches and scuffs on all the walls, again one of the phones didn't work and more. We emailed the hotel and were addressed by the desk when we were checking out. We were given breakfast vouchers and told the manager would call but never followed up. Additionally, to add insult to injury - when given a new room, we were told to gather all our belongings and bring them down to the desk with the keys to exchange for the new room. No assistance was offered to make it more convenient for the guests affected by the hotel's lack of quality and cleanliness. Disappointed is how I felt about our stay at the Study

Very convenient location if you are visiting Penn, Dexel, or one of the hospitals in the area. Nice, spacious rooms and well designed bathroom. Well decorated. Staff was incredibly helpful. My only modest complaints were that the doors let in a bit of noise from the hall and there is a bit of city noise from the windows - being the hotel is in an urban area.

Comfortable, clean and v good service. No coffee maker in room. Fridge and microwave on request. Coffee and tea in lobby, but just for a short time in the morning. Constant access to tea service would be nice. Restaurant was decent though pricey.

Upon arrival the entrance and lobby were impressive, safe was wonderful and pleasant. However our room was something completely different. Stains on the floors, an air mattress that had a hole for the sofa bed, dirty doors and a leaking shower. I do have pictures if anyone would like them. For the price of one night I expected more out of this room.

We had a lovely stay at The Study at University
We needed to be in the city because I was a runner in the Rocket Run 2023 and it located in the area we needed to be. Clean and safe
Thank you for an enjoyable stay
Bath products were an unexpected delight

Staff was amazing. Gentleman named Jay went went above & beyond. Will come back mostly due to him.

Four staff attending one client and nobody addressed us for ten minutes. And did not apologize when finally we could check in. Very unprofessional

Currently, there is a construction going on next to the hotel, and the work seem to start at 5am on a daily basis (it is possible that it starts early, it is just from 5am the noise gets very loud). The location of the hotel is perfect for visitors to Penn and Drexel, but the construction noise during the night/early morning makes it impossible to get a good night sleep.

Noisy. Did not sleep. Paper thin walls and road construction all night

Very nice place. Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Philadelphia

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were too soft and squishy. I would appreciate a selection of pillows to find the right level of softness/firmness. Great location for accessing UPenn.

There was a little bit of stress checking in because one of the concierge couldn't find the reservation at first, but all in all it worked eventually and everything else went smoothly. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would highly recommend.

The staff was helpful and went out of their way a couple of times to help make our stay very nice. The hotels decor and lobby is designed to make you want to hang out there, which we did. The Co-op restaurant also has fabulous decor. This is the second we’ve stayed there and are looking to going back again some day.

I was visiting my Son who attends Drexel. The Study is in a great location near great restaurants and close to Drexel and Penn. The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable with great beds and showers. The staff was amazing and helpful. I’m addition, Room Service was really good.

We stayed here to be close to Pennsylvania University Ryan hospital where our dog was for an emergency. It was close, convenient and clean. Overall good experience.

The location is perfect for Drexel. You can park next doors, but it must be in the Drexel parking lot, not the Penn parking lot if you want to part overnight. The Drexel parking lot entrance is from a wide alley, it was harder to find, but close once you know where it is.
The view from my room was disappointing - 3rd floor overlooking the parking lot and some construction. I expected more the for price I paid. However, because of the tall buildings, the room is not too bright in the morning, and it is quiet. It also had a refrigerator on request, and that was great.
The large table was also a very nice amenity.
Lobby with the library feel is also very comfortable.
Room service was on time, the baked goods were good.
The one restaurant is ok, a little pricey.
The service is great because my husband left his keys behind and they notified him and sent it immediately as soon as the mailing label was available.
