Was a pleasant stay

central location, not far from the metro, very accessible , wasn’t too busy. I love the eco friendly vibe they integrated into hotel

wifi connection in my room wasn’t too great. I needed to pay €9 extra per 24h to access a better connection

Everything was great, from hotel design to cleanliness. Very friendly personnel both at the reception and the restaurant

Loved it. Very clean and pleasant hotel

Breakfast was quite modest, in Bilbao we had smoothies, fried eggs, fresh juices and pancakes at the same rate of the hotel and for 15 euro (here it costs 18 at the reception). Also we were charged 18 euro for the city tax, however Booking stated at the reservation that tax was included in the price but it’s not true..

Close to hop on and hop off stop and the train station.

Food in hotel restaurant was not worth the money. Also, not a lot of decent restaurants in the area.

A great place to stay in Barcelona

The breakfast is EXCEPTIONAL. I am gluten intolerant and vegetarian and I left stuffed! I kid you not there is so much wonderful, attractive and exciting choice. And surprise alert: the carrot juice was awesome - better than orange juice. I am a convert now! The rooms have a fridge AND a proper cupboard. Excellent shower in the bathroom. The staff was SO accommodating. They really helped me print off my boarding pass - and their English was excellent. There is a really good pavement restaurant el Caserole that serves Galician food (I know!). Reasonably priced and delicious - try the sepia (cuttlefish) and the seafood soup. The beer is served in iced glasses. So good! There is a taxi rank outside and any number of taxis to flag down on the main road outside

There was no black tea in the room only fruity versions. But, unusually for a European hotel, there was a British jug kettle as well as a coffee making machine. The wi-fi was seamless

Very good hotel very close to the metro that’s 5 minute from the Ramblas

Top Hotel, very good value for the money paid, excelent breakfast 5 star ⭐️ The problem was the room next to mine very noisy no respect for the other guests

Exceptional

Reception team was extremely professional and helpful. It made the experience of staying in the hotel. They do care about you and help with organising sightseeing, bus tickets etc. You do feel welcome in the hotel. We also got drink tokens for each day when we didn't need a room service what supports environment.

Breakfast fine. Location not great for sightseeing.

We were unable to get a glass of wine on Saturday evening as the bar was closed until 8:00. This was very strange not to have bar services available to guests until 8:00 pm.

The area was beautiful and close to all amenities and sites.

I arrived home at night and the room door was open. Nothing missing from room thankfully. No feedback from staff when approached. Was told cctv cameras would be looked at but no report from staff when asked unfortunately. Other than that the stay was very positive.

asked for 2 rooms close together and got an email that it was no problem. when I got there, our rooms were on different floors

I would not recommend the hotel to anyone unless the staff go through customer service training

Unhappy with the way we were treated

The room was comfortable.

The staff attitude towards us was disgusting. The check in process was long though everything required was submitted. One night I went for a stroll, came back and asked for a glass of water (I wanted to peruse the bills in the lobby and didn't want to disturb my wife who was sleeping in the room). The employee manning the reception mentioned the 'definition of a mini-bar' and with reckless abandon mentioned their bar is closed! Funnily the next day, though neither I nor my wife placed a do not disturb placard on our door, we found one placed and the room was not cleaned. We saw a pattern in the way we were being treated and raised the issue to another employee manning the reception - only to be told 'sorry you are going through this' - the reason we were going through 'this' is NH. I had to ask multiple times to multiple employees as to where I can provide feedback only to be told 'online'. There were stains on the toilet seat and cover. We thought we could end our Spain trip at a nice place and booked this hotel reading the reviews, but the Airbnbs we used during our trip treated us much better than this hotel ever did. Maybe it's just us who were recepients of this sub-par behavior. I'm sad I booked this hotel.
