Breakfast was good. Only complaint was the difficulty getting a table and food was cold by the time we were able to sit and eat.

The location is perfect, and our view was beautiful, the staff are very courteous; however there are issues that overcome the positives from our experience. My bill far exceeds what I was told it would be. I was charged valet parking for every day I was there even though the car never moved. There are miscellaneous fees totaling $386.32. I was offered an upgrade at check in, I was told an extra $200 a night, for 2 nights, but I was charged a total of $927.20!!!!
To say I’m angry and disgusted is an understatement! I will never return to Embassy Suites. Oh and for all that money, the shower door was broken and didn’t close all the way!
See the above note!! My bill is not even close to what I was told it would be, I will be disputing it.

The room and view were nice, the bed was comfy
The fact that i paid over $1000 to stay there, and they proceeded to gouge you for an additional $75 a night for parking. On top of that, a basic feature any cheap motel has is free wifi.. over $1000 for a room and they need to gouge you $10 a day for wifi on top of that? Absolutely ridiculous. Will never spend another dollar there.

View from the room was good,
Front desk staff's behavior was awful. They were really cold, seems like sales people sitting selling their products.
They didnt provide the free wi fi even after asking twice, They had the promotional codes but first time told me that there is no free wifi. Then I showed them that its mentioned in booking, then they gave me promotional code which was right in from of then
Breakfast was not good at all.
I could never reach out to anyone over phone, be it front desk or room service. Phones never got connected
I was charged for two movies, I told them we didnt buy any. They asked me if there were kids in room to which I said "Yes" They told me it must be them and nothing can be done for that. I told them that there should be adult consent before approval but they told me they cannot do anything. I paid around cad cad 57 including taxes. I dont know if this falls under grievances but it was really bad experience for me. I am not sure I will ever consider their property again..

Nice view .. only when you upgrade but it doesn't worth over 480 CAD for just one night
Parking is so expensive 100 CAD
I booked a full falls view from booking.com and it turned out to be a partial view and staff said we are not giving a full view option for any third parties booking like booking.com and whatever you saw on booking.com is incorrect and there was no other option expecting paying more to upgrade to get what I was expecting.

The view from the room over the Falls was brilliant.
You can get the same/similar views from the breakfast room/restaurant.
All the staff were friendly.
The room was clean and well laid out.
We did a bit trapped into expensive hotel parking. There were lots of staff placed outside the hotel who could be better employed making it easier to use the cheaper off-site car parking.
We got to the hotel very late and even though we were assured the onsite TGI was still open, they had decided to close it basically as we walked in, (there were still customers as the bar). This meant we had to walk 15 minutes to the all night food court by the nearby casino.

The view was amazing. The breakfast was so nice with a view of the falls! Also don’t be nervous with off site parking. It was a breeze and there was always a shuttle ready to take us back and forth!

15th floor view was alright. Good and comfortable size room.
Only one elevator for lobby to 19th floor. We had to wait for long time for it as it’s full on rush hour. Long wait for breakfast. It’s just basic breakfast and nothing fancy.

It's such a large hotel that it feels very impersonal. It's hard for the hotel to keep up with so many people at breakfast (I'd recommend going off on your own!). Parking is valet only, which is an added expense, but standard in the area.

We only liked the view
The room was dusty, the mattresses were nothing but coils, the 3rd bed went unused as bad as it was, the bathroom door was uneven and got stuck and our 7 year old got locked in the bathroom. The tv had not one single premium channel and the few channels it had were local crappy tv. The microwave was so small we couldn't even pop a small bag of popcorn properly as it got stuck on the rotating plate. We reserved a room on the 36th fl and were placed on the 35th, and somehow our reservation was $600 more than the original. The clerk tried to sell us a room w the view to the fire works, fire works that will not happen until the June/July. The breakfast lines are insane, the elevators take forever, the fridge temp. dial was intentionally removed, as per the front desk, and our food went bad and our drinks were never cold. For 5 days during off peak season, $3000 for a room where we couldn't even have a cold drink, it was a waste of money !

Location was perfectly near the falls as advertised. We had a room that allowed us to view both American and Canadian falls. The suite was a perfect size overall. Loved the restaurants that were offered inside the hotel itself. And one of the most awesome things were the pool hours. Most hotels/resorts only have pool hours until about 8pm, but this one stayed open until midnight which made me feel I did not have to rush to get in the pool at a certain time before closing time. Overall it was very clean, and nice. Plan to stay again for sure.
The main thing that was annoying were the elevators. Almost each time we used them, we had to get in line or wait for the next one to come because they were always full.

I paid extra at check-in for a view of the falls. This room also happened to have a spa tub. I had booked a city view/standard room through booking.com. It was well worth the price I paid. With the added upgrade fee the rate was still lower than they were quoting at the desk for rooms overlooking the falls. No guarantee you could make this happen, but I got lucky. A falls view was spectacular. My kids loved to watch the colored lights changing on the falls at night. Can't beat the location if your main goal is to see the falls and explore the Canadian side.
The hotel is high volume. The breakfast and pool were crowded even in the off season. The staff were doing a good job of managing things even helping to load elevators more efficently at peak times. However, if you do not like crowds and kids, this is not the hotel for you. This is a nice place but is due for refurbishment. Some loose bathroom tiles and outdated decor.

Booked this as a birthday present for my parents (as I am not in the country) and unfortunately they didn’t have a smooth check in. They were told that the room they were supposed to be in was not available and they would have to go to a lower level (even though I paid extra to be on a higher up level with good views of the falls). When they inquired about a level above this, they were advised they had to pay extra (even though I paid extra already and the booked room wasn’t available!!!) and eventually staff agreed to it. They were then given a smaller room to what I had booked, and again had to fight to be given the actual type of room I had booked. Although it eventually got sorted, it was not a very nice experience for my parents considering it was supposed to be a nice, relaxing weekend away for them. Also, not a good look for Embassy suites trying to cut corners with customers and having the nerve to charge extra when they did not even honour the booking.

Location was excellent
When I checked in the person at check in offfered me to upgrade the type of room for additional fees. I agreed to paying additional costs and then when I’m in room I hear dogs barking incessantly. I went to desk to address the issue & I was told the hotel was pet friendly. So basically I paid an additional $120 per night to hear dogs barking. Then the hotel had the audacity to tell me parking was an additional $100 per night.
