Overpriced for quality but good location and friendly staff.

Location and that it was a smaller hotel.

The room was too basic no kitchen and lack of coziness - fake fireplace made it feel cheap.

Above adequate.

Great location! Perfect for a 1 night stay.

We asked for an extra cot; we got a crib. When I asked about the cot, I was told, "Oh, in Australia we call a crib a cot." Go figure.

Great stay , I wish if it was not so noisy

I liked everything about the room , hot tub , pool , friendly staff.

It was very noisy in the evening, because there was a loud music from nearby bar restaurant.

The staff at Adara is the best! So helpful and easy to deal with and the location to the mountain was also great

Family gathering in Whistler

The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a microwave and mini-fridge. I gas fireplace was an added touch.

We were surprised to find that the room did not have a couch. The room was so big and a small couch would have been nice to have. Also, our room faced the village and was over a bar/restaurant. Drunk partiers were heard until at least 3:30 am. If you want peace and quiet, it would be best to get a room not facing the village.

Horrible Sleeping Environment

unbearable noisy environment. When we got really tired and want to rest, there is lound music from nearby pubs, which close at 1am. What’s worse, we can hear people laughing and running through the walkway at 11:30pm when you’re super tired and want to rest. And you can consistently hear someone moving their chairs and tables. What truly disappointed us is we left message to ask for a quiet room. It turned out waste of my time and we got assigned to 219 which I believe is one of the most noisy rooms at ADARA, as it close to elevator and facing the lousy pub. There’s literally hearing protection in your bed site. If you’re a light sleeper, get away from Adara. Horrible experience for those want to rest!! It cause my headaches and insomnia.

Give a little Whistler.

Straight forward to find, nice and centrally located and close to a good assortment of bars and restaurants. The staff on arrival were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. All in all a lovely experience.

Can't really think of anything that impacted my enjoyment.

Perfect

Everything is way better than what I have expected it would be. The room is very clean and the location is near to everything in that small town. They even have a ps3 with some classic game, which I do really enjoy

Great hotel, awesome location.

Location is excellent. Loft rooms are very big, balcony had beautiful views and very private. Comfortable beds, and the price is always great. Nice to have a pool and hot tub.

Needed better lighting in the living room.

Our room’s hot water did not work and the staff kindly gave us a free upgrade to another bigger room

A lot of room for improvement...

The mattress was big and comfy. Check in was easy. Staff were kind. Liked the eco-friendly power feature.

The whole room felt very closed in. The halls felt like walking into a storage unit. Minimal furnishings and in need of fixing up. Bathroom was visibly dirty. Long beard/body hair on the counter. Grime in the corners and on the tiles. Not a single hook to hang stuff in the bathroom?????? Where are you supposed to hang your bathing suit? (Not that we needed to because the pool and hot tub were both closed for maintenance which was a major disappointment.) Or wet towels? Lighting was not ideal either. Mattress pad thing (not a protector) didn't cover the whole mattress, and no fitted sheet (just a flat sheet) so we woke up on the bare mattress.. yuck. Noise from the bar below was a lot, even on a Wednesday night, but we figured that would be the case since they provide earplugs on the nightstand. We just needed a place to sleep for the evening, which is what we paid for, but I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for more/for a longer stay. The cookies in the lobby were good though!

Staff claim they have NO ROOM for a breakfast nook. That is total B S !

Outrageous parking fees and not a crumb offered for morning snacks, not even an apple or biscuit. How cheap is that ? Its pretty bad at the second floor bar/eatery - $25 for a undercooked hamburger. Are you guys for real ?

it was super close and convenient to the village centre and the gondolas. The staff were excellent and the beds were amazing.

No cutlery or plates etc in the rooms. Sporadic cleaning. Not enough cookies for everyone in the hotel.

Great location. But you have to chose between quiet and warmth.

The location is great. Check-in and out were a breeze. The staff was helpful when we needed something. The beds are comfy (even the pull-out bed which usually is very bad). The ski room is very convenient.

It was cold - The A/C couldn't get the temp in the room high enough, and we couldn't get the A/C on the upper floor to work. The fireplace is for show only and doesn't heat (a staff member told us that). it was also a bit noisy - there is a pub just across the street which you can hear very well if the A/C is off. If the A/C is on - you cannot really hear it, because the A/C itself was very loud (to a level that the kids had problems falling asleep). They do leave earplugs in the room, so they know about the noise for sure. It wasn't super clean - just a peek under the bed showed that no one really vacuums there (or even takes away forgotten items like old socks)

Good value for Whistler

The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was in decent repair but should be updated.

The toilet blocked up twice during our stay. I think more the user rather than the toilet but still annoying as it didn't happen anywhere else. It is decent value for Whistler but not decent value compared to other locations and quality of fitout. The room was old, well used and needed updating. I was really worried when I saw earplugs on the bedside tables but there was absolutely no noise that kept us awake. The nightclub and bar straight outside the window were in full operation and we only heard a couple of 'doofs' during our stay. Nothing to be annoyed about. If I'd had the energy I would've joined the party goers and it definitely wouldn't have been a concern then.
