Great. Highly recommend.

The hotel is beautiful, our room was great, the staff professional and friendly, and the location is great.

The AC in our room was a little too warm but still comfortable.

Ideal hotel for visiting Vieux Québec

Hotel was ideally situated for us in the Vieux Port, easy access to all the places we wanted to see. The room was a decent size with an extremely comfortable bed.

Intimate and in the Center of Things

I have never had a front desk / concierge take a dinner recommendation so seriously. We came to Quebec City under-prepared without dinner reservations and Jimmy at the front desk was able to get us into a top-notch restaurant. Thank you again Jimmy! Jimmy was also able to make sure we didn’t have to change rooms despite our separate bookings for each night. We really appreciated not having to pack-up and move even though the solution was not straight-forward given the high occupancy rate. I also thought it was odd the hotel marketed their “Italian showers”, but the shower was super enjoyable! We also loved that the mini-suite was reasonably priced and gave us extra space! Plus free coffee in the lobby!

Faultless Stay With Zero Personality

We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed and excellent noise insulation -- for that, I am thrilled with the hotel. Nothing is more important than a good night's sleep and they excelled at that. Also appreciated that the room had a Nespresso machine & capsules + a hot water kettle. Decent, free wifi connectivity. Location is nice, in the lower section of Old Quebec, with a 5-20 minute walk to nearly any tourist attraction.

Prices often reflect an "upscale" stay and this hotel was nice but unmemorable. Valet parking only (we instead chose to self-park at the garage between the river & civilization museum, C$18/day) and no complimentary breakfast (C$24pp starting at 7:30am). We would stay again on a good deal.

What a view

Would highly recommend this hotel that’s tucked into a quiet area of historic, lower QC. Within easy walking distance to all primary sites. Easy to easy to walk from traditional cruiseship port that’s next to Cafe Du Mond… NOT close, however, to the newer cruiseship port that’s by shipping port (take a taxi - not Uber - from that farther out port). Our room had a great view, was enormous, comfy bed, elevator, they stored your bag on front and back end of stay. Overall clean, friendly, lovely stay.

Excellent experience! Dear all, We highly appreciated our stay with Hotel 71! It was amazing! The location is in the heart of the old Quebec city - walking distance to all the sightseeing. We are grateful for the early check in, our room was ready earlier and we could enjoy our stay even a little bit longer. The room was bigger than expected, everything is well equipped, the bed is super comfy, the blackout curtains let us enjoying it in the morning as long as we wanted. Everything is super clean, we had everything all we needed. L'occitane cosmetics was a nice surprise, we loved it. The terrace with a view deserves a separate comment - the view is breathtaking! All the staff is very friendly, thank you! We will highly recommend Hotel 71 Quebec to everyone who travels to Quebec and would come back ourselves the next time. Kind regards, Liuba & Steve

well placed in the old town easy Check in large room and large bathroom clean nice view on the city

Exceeded our expectations! I don't see us going anywhere else when visiting Quebec City

We loved the central location- the cleanliness of the hotel- and the fact the staff was so kind and accommodating. We also had a view of the castle from our room which was a bonus!

There is no on-site parking, but valet is provided. There is also public parking which is less than a minute away. No complaints there, but just the only comment we had.
