Will not recommend or stay here again

The location

The rooms were not cleaned properly, the towels were dingy and did not look or smell clean, the outside area had trash and a laundry basket left out, dirty cloths were left in the bathroom, the linen had cigarette holes and stains

Worst hotel ever

Absolutely nothing, it was hard to locate off the road, sign was not easy to find. The grounds were trashy and needs major repairs and updates.

Tiffany was great. The flies, lack of washcloths, and lack of hot water was disappointing!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was great and not too far from downtown. The room was a great size and my kids loved the TVs.

The water didn’t get hot and didn’t stay lukewarm once it reached that temperature. There were drain flies flying around the room and that was gross. They ran out of washcloths and my kids were unable to shower because they had to was washcloths and didn’t bring them to our room until it was close to checkout time.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. IT WAS ALL AROUND AWFUL

When we arrived to our room, it was absolutely disgusting. The sofa bed mattress was stained and dirty. No bedding at all provided. Room was extremely dirty. Foreign stains on the walls ( I don't even want to know!) We went down to front desk and tried to explain the issues to the front desk agent. He immediately said "I'll give you a different room", it didn't even phase him! The second room was just as bad. I was diligently looking online for another hotel. My daughter went back down to the front desk to explain the situation. The front desk agent said, sorry, we can't give you a refund. I was extremely upset. The beds were gross. We had to ask for new bedding. Also had to ask for bedding for sofa bed. Only 4 towels provided. When we asked for more, the response was " we don't have any washed", WHAT????? The breakfast was a JOKE. The first night we were there, we were riding the ONE elevator they had, it stopped at the second floor. The elevator opened up to 4 policemen with a guy in handcuffs! Ughhh....parking lot full of cop cars. The trash outside wasn't changed the 3 days that we were there. Gross...There was a male employee that spent most of the time just hanging out talking to other employees instead of working. I was so upset over the whole experience. The kicker is, I'm a Quality Assurance Supervisor of housekeeping at two resorts in Myrtle Beach. I was APPALLED OVER ALL OF IT. We would NEVER TREAT OUR GUESTS LIKE WE WERE TREATED. This hotel is a COMPLETE DISGRACE to the CHOICE brand. I don't normally pay attention to reviews ( I wish I did, would never have booked here!) BUT PLEASE READ THIS AND BELIEVE ME!! Gross, disgusting, unsafe, horrible uncaring employees.

Overall it was a great place to lay our head at night and the customer service was great!

The customer service was excellent! The room was very "roomy"

When we got to the fourth floor as we exited the elevator the whole entire hall smelled of weed. The sofa in the room had "spots" on it so we could not sit on it and the breakfast was just waffles at 830 in the morning.

The location was perfect, and the room was worth the money.

A little high priced for what was offered but was a good location for what I needed

The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean

The breakfast they offered was not very good. We went and hour after it started and there was nothing there.

I would stay there again.

Rooms are clean. There is a comfortable living room next to the bedroom, both with a TV.

Only cold cereal and one waffle iron for breakfast available on my first two mornings. On the third and final morning there were hard boiled eggs and yogurt.

Relaxing and charelston sc is gorgeous

Location was fine breakfast was to be expected they kept everything stocked Sabrina the manager and her crew made us feel welcome from the time you arrived to stay and from the time you left to go home they'll had a sense of urgency to meet the guest needs

Room was dirty and extremely dusty. Tables had sticky residue on it. Killed two roaches. Pull out couch was broken and didn’t have any rollaway beds. Bathroom reeked of poop. I wiped the flor with a white towel and some cleaner and the towel was super brown 🤢🤮

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean as well as the room.

We got in very late. We got into the bed and literally SUNK. There was a hole in the bed towards the head of the bed. We had to remove the bedding and sleep at the foot of the bed. We could feel the springs from the mattress. For a nice hotel the bed was junk. We would have been better off sleeping under a freeway overpass.

Disgusting and over priced

That hotel was disgusting. The front desk staff was kind. The room was dirty, there were no fire alarms, the key to the room didn’t work, there was hair on the bed. I was disgusting, as was my mother and my daughter. Absolutely no excuse and the manager, if you could call him that, was so nonchalant and disrespectful!

the front clerk was pleasant.

it needs maintance. Cockroach found under sink. the bathroom towel racks are rusted. No dishes etc offered in the kitchenette area. Towels unbelievably thin. Neglected! The pool was not working and I truly think I should be reimbursed for the fact I called and asked about the indoor pool - why I choice the hotel. very disappointing !

Very good

Very nice room layout. Great for a family.

Disrespectful guests on the floor we were staying. Smoking in a non-smoking area. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hall in the evening evenings.

Better Choices Available

Some of the staff members are excellent. The manager of the hotel was not when it came to refunding money for nights I was charged for but did not stay. I had to file complaints with Booking.com to get him to take action on my refund/credit to my credit card.

Breakfast is a joke. No meats. Trash near a room door was there when I left the hotel around 9 A.M. and still there when I returned to the hotel in the evening around 7:30 PM.

Dirty, never any housekeeping, suppose to have a heated indoor pool the only reason to stay there

Not much there. Never open on time. Coffee never ready by 6:00. Service was from 6-9. We left in the mornings by 6:15 never any coffee.

I'd stay here again.

The staff were so helpful and funny and made us feel at home. Easy to find. Comfortable and clean

The only complaint was on Fri afternoon/evening our key would not open the door to our room. I went to the front desk and no one was there and I waited for 20 min for her to show up. I even called the front desk twice with no answer. I was then running late for the grooms supper that night. The late night lady (elderly blond)was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience.

the beds were comfortable bed i could feel the springs on my back when i laid down, only had sheets on the bed no comforters or even a blanket and the wifi was terrible i keep asking the front desk about it and they keep saying its down its down the only reason i went to this hotel because i saw the commercial on tv and its way different from what they said
