We were so happy to have a convenient place to stay after our long flight. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spa

Conveniently attached to the Vancouver Airport. Our bed was comfortable and there were lots of snacks as well as beverages in the fridge. The body products they offered were high end and were lovely to use after a long flight.

The elevator entrance was narrow from the airport to the hotel.

Excellent location and rooms, terrible air quality on 6th floor.

Location and convenience for getting on an early morning flight.

Have stayed here before, this time air quality on 6th floor was beyond poor as it was filled with jet fumes making it nearly impossible to sleep. Air filtration needs to get upgraded or repaired on that floor.

Avoid. Not worth the price, or headache.

That checkout was noon.

Beds, room wasn’t fully clean, TV not working, over priced, not worth money, awful walk from terminal, 5 emails to check out between 5 and 8 am, carpet old and dirty, just a waste of money.

Wonderful for early morning flights.

The location can't be beat for getting to early morning flights. The room was quiet, well-appointed, and staff welcoming. The amenities provided are very workable.

The walk to my room from the elevator was a little long, rolling a bag on the carpet - but that's a minor inconvenience.

Great option if you're only in Vancouver for a night or two, or if you have a late or early flight.

Had to look after my own bags. No staff available to assist.

Excellent

The room was clean but most of all the staff were exceptional. The concierge had not even stared his shift before he ran over to assist with our bags, the staff at the front desk went above and beyond and as someone travelling with allergies, the assistance from the waitstaff and kitchen to ensure that the meal catered for my needs was beyond a 5 star experience. I would highly highly recommend this place.

The perfect place to land after a long flight

I like that I can get off the plane and walk to a luxury hotel right at the airport. The rooms are clean spacious and comfortable with views of the planes coming and going. We enjoy the bar and restaurant.

Location, location, location!

The best part of this hotel is the location right in the terminal of the Vancouver airport. We actually upgraded to the club floor room with a view of the runway once we got there.

It's pretty expensive even without the club floor.

Location location location!

The location of the Fairmont Airport is its best feature. We loved watching the airplanes coming and going. Our Club Floor room was very comfy and the food was great. The concierge service up there was very helpful

Literally, the only thing we didn't love was the price. We knew we were paying more when we chose the club floor and we really needed the room on this date and for this occasion. We would do it again despite the price.

Excellent Choice for the weary Traveller

Arriving at Midnight, I was really glad to have this hotel in the airport. The bathroom is amazing -- a huge bathtub that was really relaxing after a long flight. The room was clean, comfortable, and really quite! Is it more expensive that other airport hotels? Yes, but it is the only one in the airport, so you have to pay for that convenience, and do not have to fight with luggage after Midnight. Since I was renting a car the next morning [and the rental agency was already closed by the time my flight arrived], the hotel was a perfect choice. I saw some folks sleeping on the floor of the airport waiting for a morning flight. I am glad that I had the resources to stay at the Fairmont. BTW, the receptionist at the check in counter was delightful! Such a pleasant, welcoming attitude.

Perfect rest point for travellers with long layovers

Definitely love how convenient its location. While staying there, I would highly recommend upgrading to Gold.

Very disappointing again - not like it used to be!

Location and comfortable bed and shower and bathroom facilities

receptionist mistakenly directed us to a different room from what we normally have so had to change rooms! Problem was that it was like a physically challenged room and did not have the usual excellent bathroom with. tub and shower and the configuration that we have enjoyed over several previous stays. long line up for breakfast which was unsatisfactory and we were told a minimum of half an hour wait for a table, let alone getting any food - with a flight to catch of course. So we ate in the airport terminal Such a shame! The restaurant looked extremely understaffed.

I showed up at the front desk to ask for availability and the receptionist turned us away stating that the hotel was full. Few minutes later, my husband was able to make an online booking. I keep thinking that it was a discriminatory situation.

Loved the Nesspresso coffee! I also liked that the room was quiet, very clean, had a very comfortable bed and had lots of towels.

The lighting in the room was far too sparse; I had to use a flashlight to find the coffee cups, capsules, creamers, etc. The black console containing these items was in an area of the room with no lighting except a small desklamp that couldn't be moved. I was also dismayed at the lack of available plugs (electrical sockets) as all the sockets that I could find were behind the furniture or were fully occupied by other plugs. I, like most travellers these days, travel with multiple electronic devices and the one plug that I could find was in the hallway near the floor (probably designed for the vacuum cleaner) so I had to recharge my devices there thus leaving them sitting on the floor. A high-end hotel room without several available plugs is unacceptable these days.

Good comfortable overnight stop before starting our holiday.

Room was excellent - good size, comfy beds, all neat & clean. Bar and restaurant were good, prompt friendly service, and good choice of food and drink. Location was perfect as we were stopping over for one night having flown in from the UK.

Check in was slow, with a long queue. Signage from International Arrivals at Vancouver Airport was awful - there was a sign saying hotel, then nothing after that - we had to ask for directions.
