We had a grat time.

The location is AMAZING, the staff great. The breakfast was pleasant but could have switched it up.

I didn't like that my husband felt like they were singling hin out in racism way.

Nice hotel, perfect location, good staff - but a little expensive.

The location was great. The staff was nice. The room was ok. The price was a little expensive.

The price point and that the hotel did not have a balcony.

I recommend

The staff is extremely helpful and kind, the location is excellent, right on ocean drive, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious

Between mine and the neighbour room there was a locked door which made the wall pretty thin and the cleaning ladies were loud very early in the morning which didn't became more quiet after me asking for it

Hôtel actuellement en rénovation, le petit dej est dispo dans un autre hotel. Pas de restauration sur place. La salle de bain et les fenêtres mériteraient une rénovation également même si dans l’ensemble propre et convenablement équipé.

Nice for location

Great location. Staff was friendly. They have a nice little bar & you can also dine at hotel. Everything was in walking distance with a CVS next door.

Would try again.. was not a bad stay.

The location was fabulous.. just smack in the middle of south beach and ocean drive.. lively location, lots to do and see. The staff was very helpful and towels and amenities were clean.

The rooms need upgrading.. the tile floor in room was a bit uncomfortable if you won’t prepared to be barefooted . AC was an old fashioned one from the early 90’s and loud.

Hotel in desperate need of refurbish.

The hotel location was perfect, placed on Ocean Drive opposite the beach.

Firstly the room was very dated and nothing like the booking.com pictures. The bathroom was degrading. Basically this hotel needs overhauling. Breakfast was disgusting, to be eaten with warped plastic knives in a 4 star hotel. We were upgraded to a sea view suite, but this was still old world. Nothing was done about the breakfast. We were given the option to move to the sister hotel, 2 blocks away,

No complains about my stay just enjoyed my stay and the price was reasonable.

Nearing perfection, this is a fantastic place for your stay in Miami Beach!

In an unbelievable location, right in the heart of Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, the Beach South Beach Hotel is one of the historic Art Deco buildings that appears in souvenirs and postcards. The hotel looks a little dated but that matters absolutely nothing at all once you take in consideration how inexpensive it is, the WONDERFUL staff (Sena, this is especially for you! YOU ROCK! all others too, of course!), their local restaurant recommendations, the British-like breakfast included, the free bikes you can use whenever you want, the lobby where we can rest in the AC to get away from the heat and humidity in the street... everything, absolutely everything is just spot on. If I return to Miami Beach this is definitely where I'm staying!

Pretty disappointing having to move rooms 3 times due to health hazards- loose glass/ faulty air con and flooded roo

Excellent and friendly staff

Rooms were very dated and within our 2 night stay we had to change rooms 3 times- once for unsafe glass (loose) in secondary glazing, then for a faulty air con unit and again for a leaking shower which flooded the floor and wet our luggage. Resolution offered was pretty poor- waived resort fee!

Fun place to stay for a few nights. Great staff and an amazing sunrise.

Great location on the beach. There are many restaurants close by. The staff was super friendly! Everyone was very upbeat and happy to see you. I liked the whole vibe they have going on. Wished I could stay longer. And the soap smelled so amazing I had to go home and buy some for myself!

The parking was around the corner and down the block, so not super fun lugging suitcases around, but it wasn't too bad. We arrived during the dinner hour so it was super busy.

Disappointing

the location is very good, other than that we didn't like the hotel and espacially the rooms that we got.

there were construction works under our window at 4:00am, the hotel didn't do anything about this

Just about OK for a 1 night stay

Atmospheric location opposite beach. Bell boy was exceptional

Very run down bathrooms - other areas ranged widely from good to poor. Very noisy. Appallingly bad quality breakfast

I'll definitely stay here again

The breakfast was decent. Food was always hot and fresh.

Two problems, one was the bathtub was super slick. I had to make sure I focused on not slipping. I was there for 3 days and had to take numerous showers due to the Miami heat. Several times I just chose to take a sit down bath instead, which I normally wouldn't do in a hotel. Lastly when I booked the reservation I let them know my birthday would be during my 3 day stay. I even got a email saying my request had been accepted. Which I didn't request anything but acknowledgment of my birthday. However nothing was said or mentioned. Other than that I loved my stay. Staff are very professional and friendly

Close to beach access

The rooms are small, didn't like the shower doors. If you are sharing a room it's no privacy in the bathroom plus it's really small. Doors are see through. No pool available. Elevator small, only holds 3 people, had to take stairs several times.
