Very chill, peaceful and memorable

Very cozy and everyone made my stay very comfortable and it felt like home. It was close to so many restaurants and retail and most especially the Stanford campus. Pleasant neighborhood and safe to walk around

Fabulous place to stay ! I highly recommend.

The breakfasts were fantastic! The room had a balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the courtyard. I sat out there and ate my breakfast. The room itself was stunningly beautiful and meticulously maintained with maid service every day. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Shops and restaurants within walking distance.

El Prado a wonderful haven with easy access to dowtown and Stanford University

There are many things to like about El Prado — our beautiful and spacious room, the terrific location just off the older downtown area with several restaurants and shops that is easily walkable. My favourite though was the lovely bar on the second floor where we went to share a great charcuterie board and two delicious cocktails when we arrived at 9pm feeling peckish after a long flight from Montreal. The bar is cosy with several comfortable upholstered armchairs and couches set up in sitting areas for a tête-a-tête for two or for small groups; just the perfect spot for relaxed drinks after work or to welcome two tired travellers.

A great choice in downtown Palo Alto

This is a charming small hotel that was less expensive and much nicer than the Sheraton that hosted the conference I was attending.

Nothing. I might have said the need to use room service for breakfast, but there was no special room service addon (only a tip built in). So even here I won't complain.

Fantastic rooms and very helpful and Palo Alto had a great atmosphere

This class of hotel should have a breakfast option aside from room service. There are a lot of venues nearby but on premise for this level would have been nice

Wonderful high end, beautiful place.

High end hotel, very clean, nice place. Staff great and in a great location near downtown resturants and shops. Very comfortable bed!

luxurious and comfortable stay while visiting palo alto/Stanford

excellent location near restaurants and shops on university avenue. hotel staff friendly and professional. greeted all times politely. hotel room is outstanding. luxury and beautiful. very comfortable stay and worth the money spent!

Love the coffee, beds and robes, felt luxurious.

Early morning coffee available in lobby of each floor. Super comfy beds. Very tasty and healthy room service.

No smart TV! The hub of tech in Palo Alto should have streaming on their TVs!! We had to huddle around my laptop to stream HBO and Netflix.

Excellent. Highly recommended.

Hotel was modern and clean. Rooms very beautiful. Hotel had alot of character. The location was great. Free coffee every morning was a bonus. Staff were professional and freindly. Would stay again without hesitation.

I cannot think of anything I didn't like.

Best US hotel that I have ever stayed at. Highly recommended.

The hotel is clean, quiet & the bed was most comfortable. Bathroom was spot-on & always clean. The in-room fireplace gave it a cosy feel during colder-than-usual February evenings & mornings. Turn-down service was a nice touch.

Avoid at all costs

House keeping staff took away my do not disturb hanger and knocked my door twice a day to ask what time they can clean my room the next day. Very absurd and disturbing.

Who is a beautiful hotel, lovely room, well appointed, spacious and comfortable. It was in walking distance from so many lovely restaurants and cafés.

Lovely stay in a pretty, intimate hotel

Beautiful boutique European/ Classic style hotel. Very focused on details. Quaint and intimate. Location could not have been better and the staffs were extremely polite and accommodating. Absolutely loved our stay. Would definitely choose to stay in El Prado when and if we visit Paulo Alto again.

I loved my overall experience.

nice stay but very expensive.

great location, clean and comfortable accommodations.

the staff at first told me I had been "upgraded" to a room with a single king bed, when I had specifically asked for two queen beds. The "upgrade" turned out to be very small. we complained and they moved us into the supposed "lesser" category room which was actually a LOT nicer, bigger, etc. I felt like they were not honest in their initiative and that feeling stayed.
