room is very big. nice seating area rooftop with ocean view. location next to the beach and the beach is very nice to go walk or event go into water. car park is good breakfast is good

Super Lage in zweiter Reihe zum Sunset Beach. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Wurden vom Host des Hotels herzlich empfangen und der leistete wirklich sehr gute Arbeit. Beaufsichtigte das reinigen der Zimmer, kontrollierte auf dem Parkplatz und hatte sehr gute Restaurantempfehlungen parat.
Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit Buchung einer guten Zimmerkategorie bekommt man ein ordentliches Zimmer.

We LOVED just about everything at this property. The location was excellent - so close to the water, restaurants and sightseeing! The room was spacious and very comfortable. The roof top lounge was great! Excellent coffee and a decent breakfast.
The only criticism I have is that the hot water was definitely not hot enough! We asked twice about this and it was never resolved. If not for that one thing, I would rate this hotel a 10 on all accounts.

My favorite place to stay when in the area. Extremely friendly staff. Large clean rooms. Very cute hotel. Plus the location can’t get any more perfect. Love they they have free breakfast every morning and have beach chairs, toys and towels to use

Very convenient location just a few hundred feet from the beach and close to restaurants. On the ocean side of PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) so you don't have to cross that busy road to get to the beach.
The parking spots in the garage are very tight but okay if you have a smallish car. That's about my only complaint.

It was a "delight" staying at the Ocean Surf hotel. Shaun was "extremely" helpful and even changed my room when I requested a room in the back of the hotel. I look forward to staying there again.

Location, location, location!
A lot of the parking spaces in the garage (under the inn) are very tight due to the pillars holding the place up! We did have to park outside the garage a couple of times in the evening because our Chrysler Pacifica van couldn't fit in the remaining small spaces near pillars.

there was sand on our floor when we got there but for being a hotel so close to the beach we kinda expected it

The room was clean and had a nice, clean smell. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the area. There were a number of restaurants within walking distance, and the beach was just a few steps away. Plus, the hotel manager was friendly and gave us lots of restaurant tips.
The hotel is located on a very busy road. Unfortunately, the room had very poor sound insulation so we heard the traffic all night (there was a huge gap between the door and the jam and we could hear almost every word of the occupants of the adjoining room when they got up at 5.30am). In addition, the blinds did not prevent the light of the external landing from shining into the room, so I had to wear my eye mask. Also, it was further away from the Sea Port than Expedia indicated.
