Great place, great staff, great location.

Every single staff member was extremely friendly. Location was close to everything you could want to do that was touristy.

They kept the in room refrigerator at a lukewarm temperature.

Didn’t like it

Location

I booked the river view and I called several times to booking and the hotel before our stay to confirm the view. However they gave us water view which is the lake and only the portion of the river. I asked the manager for a switch after I got the room but they refused.I went there for st Patrick day but I couldn’t see anything from my window( just a portion of river). So disappointed. Also, facilities were poor, only a small pool which was too crowded. Overall it didn’t worth the price, u can find better hotels with same price and same location.

We didn't have to leave the hotel grounds the entire stay and had an amazing time.

Was greeted by Evi, so sorry I can't spell her name but she was AMAZING! Helped my Fiance and I out greatly. Room was great.

Great location at a reasonable price

It is in a wonderful location, close to shopping, attractions, and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

It had a "Riverview," but on higher floors, it is hard to see the river. Hotel does charge a resort fee, but that fee includes a daily $25 food & beverage credit (plus other benefits). We used the credit on room service for dessert.

Good location, good value. Request river view room.

The location is great. We love how big the lobby area is. There are plenty of sitting areas, if you just want to relax while you are waiting on your group. My girls love hangin out at the lobby areas.

We enjoy Sheraton, we are heading back this weekend actually.

The property is centrally located. Great views and clean

They charge a resort fee that seems ridiculous on top of the room cost. The restaurants are too expensive within the property.

If looks can be deceiving with the hotel, the Sheraton wins hands down 🚫

The location is superb. The Sheraton itself is legendary

The room did not match what the description said. I had to wait two and a half hours to check in. The room wasn't clean. The hotel wasn't clean. The staff wasn't very helpful. There was no light over the dinner table. It was just horrible. It was just really uncomfortable. I would never book here again and for the amount of money that I've spent it was just horrible. There was no kitchen at it and the wrong pacifically said it was and then when I called the hotel the young lady told me that in this Pacific room it was. It was the only reason why upgraded and it wasn't. How disappointed was I oh my god but there was a manager on staff Rene he is pretty much the best thing this hotel got going. He was very, very helpful to try to resolve the situation, though they may promises that they didn't fulfill. He was helpful in a lot of ways and I appreciate that. But overall don't go through the house of that. I went through just book someplace else fellas. Happy New years! 💝... FYI the pictures that I'm sharing are pictures from my hotel room. I rent it the Illinois one large bedroom almost $800 a night and the light fixture didn't even have bulbs in it but one the bathroom. It was just a medicine. Oh it was a mess you guys.

Terrible—do NOT recommend.

Suzanne (the concierge) might be the nicest person ever. So is Fred at the baggage check.

They overbooked the hotel and tried to say they had no room for me and send me to another hotel at 11 pm. Then, when I insisted they give me a room it took more than an hour. The wifi (which was VERY expensive 19 USD per day) was useless. The free conference wifi was significantly better. The restaurants and bar were closed most of the time and there was a HUGE line up for the premade sandwiches. They also add on a TON of fees after you book. I am deeply unsatisfied.

Nice hotel but be careful with the destination fee

Location is perfect, the view of s fantastic. A lot of space

Destination fee is very annoying: when you see the price in booking you see it without taxes and destination fee, then you see that you have a $25 mandatory destination fee per day. When you book it you get a message saying that the destination fee includes pool, gym etc and a $20 food and drink credit….so you go at the bar where you obviously spend more than $20. I strongly believe that if the destination fee is mandatory….it should be just part of daily price instead of seen this little surprise at the check out.

Good location hotel, but probably not the best choice to stay during Chicago Marathon.

The hotel is in good location though not the best to go around most of the attractions in Chicago. The breakfast quality was very nice with good variety. Room was in good condition and clean.

There were a lot of guest there for Chicago Marathon, but the hotel did not accomodate the runners to have early breakfast prepared. Destination fee was also something not worth. It was probably just the way the hotel trying to earn more.

Thanks for taking such good care of us!

We liked the security, attention to details, and the great staff. Everyone was wonderful, from the front desk, to the happy bar, maid service, and the doormen who nicely hailed our cabs. We liked the on-site parking. We loved the hotel’s architectural details. We loved the café for breakfast. We loved the Riverwalk.

Our room that was a corner unit which had views of both the lake and the river. However, another hotel was directly in front of our room, so that caused an obstructed view of the lake.

Nice clean and well kept.

Parking garage key error kept coming up even after new keys.ac in room not functioning. Set to 66 and only got down to 73.

The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean.

Lack of parking is a huge issue. Please factor in 55-60 extra dollars a day for off site parking. We also had a stranger come into our room on accident.

Memorable stay at the majestic Sheraton Grand Chicago!

The hotel is situated by the river and it was relaxing just sitting and watching the boats passing by. The hotel is also a walking distance to major retail stores.

The reception staff were not too friendly. They did not even explain the $20 voucher and gifts that I was entitled to which I only got to understand on the last night of my stay. The meeting rooms for the conferences were cold and made concentration difficult. Even when we requested that the temperature be adjusted nothing was done.
