Hotel was good with excellent location. Room was small and the kitchenette area was spacious but a little odd. The stainless steel counter with sink and mini fridge looks like something that would be in a jail or prison area. Didn’t match at all. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall, hotel was good and I would stay again if in the area.

Went to the bar for a glass of wine or two. While sitting at the bar, I noticed quite a few gnats or fruit flies all over the place. Bartender didn’t seem phased by them at all but there’s clearly a problem

Manager does not have good control of details or quality control, and when this is noted, she was defensive and suggested I move to another hotel. Good advice; I did after the first night. These were the problems that drove me away: Bitten 4 times in the restaurant by mosquitos during expensive dinner. Food and service was excellent, so this was a shame. Bugs have easy access through un- air-conditioned lobby through nearby restaurant door. In the room, T.V. and coffee maker didn't work. Manager said: " we depend on guests telling us what's wrong to fix it." This is defensive and reactive. Staff cleans room but doesn't check equipment. 8n addition, bathtub Fawcett are wobbly, and tamp bulb fixtures were dangling out of sockets. The room has a tub and a sink, but only one small bar of soap you have to move back and forth. Poor room amenities: very cheap, small shampoo and conditioner, no bottled water for coffee maker, which was broken anyway. Basic feel is old and worn out.
