Good choice for stay in Savannah, but not one of the top options.

The 2nd hotel room was spacious. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I didn't love the location; it seemed unsafe. I had to switch rooms, as my first room was the very first room of the hotel, next to the elevator. The bed looked like someone had been sitting in it. The remote was missing. The phone didn't work. However, the staff relocated me to a different room, and it was much better. I also signed up for hotel option with breakfast included through Booking, and was charged a large fee for breakfast again anyways.

Great Stay Super Close to Downtown Savannah

The room was large and comfortable. The hotel shuttle (fancy golf cart thing) took us right into town, with a tour on the way along with restaurant recommendations. The location is 2 blocks away from downtown. This made it very affordable and a great location. The breakfast was excellent, including an omlette station.

$20 for self parking at the hotel. Understandable, I guess, since parking in town near by is much more.

Location is good

Bed - very comfortable. Shower - great . Location - excellent , walk to everything ( plus there was a shuttle, though we didn't use this) .

Breakfast -just terrible :-( in terms of quality and choice. NOT up to Hilton standards by a long way.... The door to the room had a huge gap underneath could hear people talking very loudly outside , as though they were in the room - definitely ask for a room away from the lifts ! Completely disturbed our sleep. Check-in - agent not very welcoming and obviously distracted ( asking the same question about how many vehicles were parked over and over ) Incorrect charges on the bill ( though these were quickly rectified following a call to the front desk. )

Hotel met our needs but there was nothing special to warrant the Tapestry Collection label and the high price.

The room was spacious, with a nice sitting area. Beds were comfortable.

There was a $20/day charge for parking -even for a Hilton Honors Members. The water pressure in the shower was barely adequate. The shuttle bus ran only from 2pm until 10pm - not helpful for sightseeing days.

Very nice so close to downtown

Convenient location, tall ceilings in rooms, good breakfast!

Only complaint was some of the breakfast Buffett food was not hot.

Real nice hotel but “free breakfast” limit is for 2 and you have to pay for others in your party.

Crisp clean room, comfy bed and pillows in addition to great towels and location for my family’s visit.

As advertised “Breakfast Included” well my family of 3 went to breakfast and was told there is a limit of 2 free breakfast and we would need to pay for the third. I was appalled and left. I did not have the energy to debate the fact 3 paid guests in every breakfast free hotel amenity meant all 3 guests qualify for 3 breakfast NOT 2. So be aware of this and although I would have stayed here again in the future this was a major disappointment!

I was very upset about the extra money I had to pay.

The location was perfect being that we were there for St. Patrick’s Day.

I didn’t like that I was charged more than what I was quoted on the site when I booked. I was charged for parking at the hotel that I payed to stay at. The room smelled like bleach when we walked in but the bathroom was nasty. Hair was everywhere. We had to clean it ourselves.

Recommended stay in Savannah.

The vibe of the hotel was fantastic, the design of the lobby and common areas, the room too had excellent interior. The bed was quite huge, the room was spacious, bathroom looked recently renovated. It's close to the main strip & riverwalk, but its a far enough (2-4 minutes of walk away) so you don't have to wake up to the sound of a club.

The room smelled like a previous guest was smoking in it and the cleaning staff were trying to hide it with a scent. I would have asked for another room if i was with my family. The couch and the rug around it were not super clean, but the bathroom and the bed were.

Would stay there again.

We were able to walk from the Hotel to River street very easily. We didn't use the shuttle but saw others using it. The place was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Pleasant

The room had not been cleaned while we were there. Constantly asked for house keeping, which did not happen. We resorted to calling the front desk to ask for new towels, daily.

The hotel was adequate with an up charge for everything including parking in a surface lot .

The location was a few blocks from the historic district across from housing projects and there was an additional charge even for coffee in the morning despite being a basic motel except for a larger room.

There was no housekeeping at all despite being a fairly expensive motel.

Exceptional

The staff were Very welcoming and supportive. Valerie in the bar created my favorite Authentic Italian Manhattan... Request one and tell her Pete sent Ya...Jazz the courtesy driver literally went way beyond expectations...We specifically went to Savannah to attend a concert...Jazz actually waited the whole unbelievable 3hrs the concert lasted and had to deal with some pretty crazy traffic situations to get us out of there. Just some of the great ppl there at the Bluff

Location. Walking distance to everything.

Hotel is charging parking fee per night. Hotel guest shouldn't be charged with the on-site parking. The location has significant space for parking, and the location wasn't in the downtown or river street area.

I will not stay there again!

It was in a great location! Everything was walking distance! Other then those two things I will not stay here again!

The staff was not nice they seem to have attitude like you were bothering them. My room was not that clean, the blanket had stained on them to were it looked like they were not washed. My kid was walking barefoot in the room and stepped on glass and I found pieces of glass. The breakfast was not that good at all for the price you pay for it and for your stay there at the hotel. The only staff that was friendly and very nice was the girl checking us and the bartender, they were both amazing.

1)Shuttle didn't run Mon, Tues, Wed. We weren't as close to the centre of the Old Town as I thought by reading about the hotel. Also the walk along Bay St to get anywhere was quite frightening, traffic-wise. Had to practically stand on my head to access the fridge and microwave. Shelves would help.

A great place to stay.

The hotel is beautiful. Great rooms and beds. Within walking distance to River Street.

I didn't like paying $20 a night for parking. The breakfast is also $14. No free coffee.

it was clean and comfortable.

they said within walking distance to stuff, but we didn’t feel comfortable walking to and from the hotel at night. kind of a sketchy area. also said it had a free breakfast. it doesn’t. they have a person standing outside the breakfast space asking for your room number and they charge you $13.95 per person. we couldn’t find anyplace to get something to drink at the hotel. no soda machine anyplace. also ice maker on our floor didn’t work and the coffee maker in our room didn’t work. it was a nice stay but I would stay someplace else if I went again.
