Everything was great, except the parking having to pay for handicap parking

I’m glad you asked. I drove a transportation van because my dad is in a wheelchair. There were only four handicap parking places on the property. And they were always unavailable. So they tell me I can park across the street for $25 a day. It’s very sad when a handicap person has to pay to park. And there were four times as many parking places for check in time only. If you could correct that it would be great. if you could make parking places for Ford transit vans, 350. Not everyone has the pleasure to walk with their own two legs. There are wheelchair people. My clearance is 8.3.

Beautiful resort

Beautiful unit, spacious and nice amenities. Close to attractions and plenty of pools even in bad weather.

There seemed to be an issue with the shower in the guest bathroom. The water temp would go intermittently from hot to cold. No issues with the other bathroom.

Great location, nice unit, met our needs and we would return!

Location, resort amenities, services. The bathroom is nice and large with shelving that is so convenient. Wifi is good. Reception was very timely in providing more towels and providing a towel exchange when needed. This unit does not have a washer and dryer so towel exchange for a multi day stay is essential. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The kitchen is minimal but had the essentials. The location is wonderful and the view amazing. I would return to this unit.

My reservation was for 4 people. The bathroom only had towels for 3. I did call reception and more towels were delivered timely on arrival day. The murphy bed needs a new mattress, very uncomfortable. The cushions on the sofa bed are not comfortable. We did not use the sofa bed but it did include bedding. I called maintenance as the ice maker in the frig did not work. They put in a new one but it did not work either. The TV had to be exchanged, a set up issue that was not related to the cable. The lights over the stove were not working but new bulbs were put in. These were minor issues and I was glad to notify maintenance so the next guests did not have to deal with them. I have stayed in this resort many times, but in 2 bedroom units. The difference in unit size and the size of the balcony is significant but not unexpected. I would note that the room code was 10 digits!! That was a lot to commit to memory.

Fun In The Sun

Basically everything..Have been staying here since 2015 due to location, # of water activities, staff and cleanliness

Several of the water activities were closed when they are normally open. One of the indoor pools was not usable nor one of the hot tubs.

Expectations

It had a lot of pools and a nice workout room. The beds were comfortable.

I rented a studio and I thought there would be a couch in it and had a kitchen sink, but no stove. Elevator wouldn't stop on our floor a lot of times. Had a very long wait. But we think someone was some how keeping them blocked. The light would go from like #11 to #5 and just flash back and forward and stay on those same numbers. We had to take stairs. Not enough handicap parking spaces. Beautiful resort, but don't think we will ever go back.

Misleading and inaccurate

We actually booked and paid this property through Booking.com and the week of the trip, Vasca informed us that our room was not available. They booked us at Ocean Side Resort as a replacement, it was dirty and at the other side of Myrtle Beach. Very disappointed!

I never got to stay at the property!

Double check what they confirm your room as!

I loved the multiple pools and hot tubs. On-site restaurant and bars were nice. The view was good. The room was decent just not what I booked.

Booking listed it as a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. In reality it was a 1 bedroom, 1 bath. When i reviewed the confirmation after the fact, I saw that Bay Watch had confirmed it as a 1 bedroom. Lesson learned to review the details in confirmation immediately next time before it's too late to cancel or change.

Much needed stay on March Break, thank you Baywatch

This was a fantastic property for a family of 5. From adults to teenagers the stay was warm and welcoming. All amenities were easily accessible. Room 1412 was exactly what our family needed. Some upgrades are needed but my family isn't judgemental as long it is clean and maintained. Comfort and value for the price! If the expectation was 5 star, disagree, 4 star and as mentioned, might be late 90s dated, but fully enjoyable from our entire family. It exactly met our vacation for what it was worth. Can't wait to return to Myrtle Beach!

One small complaint for room 1412 Need for more kitchen utensils, tongs, extra pans, oven mits could have been beneficial for those wishing to stay in and cook for the week. Small appliance upgrades would have made cooking meals alot easier!

Code wouldn’t let me in the first day Staff treated me like It was my fault but when they came up they couldn’t get in FOUR TIMES The maintenance guy was arrogant and treated me like I was an idiot

I would book this accomodation again.

The view of the ocean and beach from the balcony was great. The fact that we could make a simple breakfast in the room makes it a winner.

The mattresses need to be replaced.

We had a nice time.

Very spacious, nice bed pillows and lots of pools. Staff was very nice. Great views.

Temp. could not be lowered, we had to go to the front desk for everything, coffee, creamer, and trash bags. We had to take our own trash out.

Despite the inconveniences we made due.

We ate at the Sandtrap twice and got the pizza. It was good. The room and campus were clean. The staff was friendly. It was peaceful and quiet at night. My son loved the lazy river.

We didn’t like using key codes as we got locked out twice! We didn’t like the Ruko tv in the room. Furniture wasn’t too comfy. The elevators skipped floors. The parking was an inconvenience as I can’t walk too far that often to the garage from Tower 1 due to lack of handicap parking.

Disaster!!!! Scam!!!

Booking.com is a major scam, waste of my time, and so is Lacasa: very deceptive, upon arrival after 10 hr drive was told that my room was not available. We were told that booking.com is a third party vendor, and our reservation was not guaranteed. After my wife was in tears, and waiting for a long time arguing, we were given lower standard rooms and family was separated into two small rooms as apposed to the three bedrooms we paid for!!! Beware of booking.com it’s a scam!!!

Deceptive practices of booking.com and the Lacasa staff who kept on saothat we had dealt with a 3rd party vendor and we could not be helped!!!!!

The stay was good for the short amount of time that I had to spend there.

I liked the fact that I was able to see the ocean from my room. The room appeared clean and well kept.

When I took a shower, the water did not drain out, I had to use a towel as a mat inside the tub bc I didn’t have shower shoes. I asked the front desk for 12 noon checkout, but since I only stayed the one night, I was told that I didn’t have that option. I was offered early check in but I couldn’t get there until after 6…..which is not the resort’s fault

I wish it had been better, because I love staying at Baywatch.

We have been coming to Baywatch for years, and the pool inside has always been really warm, but this time it wasn't and the pool guy was supposed to check it out, I guess he never did, there was a lot of sand in the hot tubs, we were there several days and No One cleaned them out. One of the elevators wasn't working. When I told them the things that were wrong, they just said, yes we have alot of things to do here this off season.

The place was nice and clean but I got bitten by bed bugs in my bed I'm just glad they didn't bite my grand babies and i know it's not y'all fault bout the bedbug you need to get it check out.

The property was great the, bed wasn't it has bedbug they ate up my right arm and shoulder.
