Buena ubicación y excelente atención

La excelente atención del concierge (Antonio Brown) fue de lo más destacado, sobre todo porque nos proporcionó muy buenos datos para los diferentes paseos que hicimos. A eso se sumó las muy buenas orientaciones de Manuel!!

Enjoyed the hotel - old, with lots of character, but updated and clean.

Staff were friendly and helpful, without exception. Location is a few blocks from the White House, and within walking distance to lots of great museums, including many of the Smithsonian museums. Room was quiet and comfortable. Beds were comfortable with nice pillows. Less than a block to Franklin Park, which is a nice little place to sit and just enjoy the city.

Restaurant was pretty limited - we had dinner there the first night, and breakfast the following morning. Our dinner server was wonderful, but the folks at breakfast were kind of absent. It would also be great if there were just more choices at each meal.

Just ok but not prefer again

-Mahmoud, the guy in the reception, was so helpful during check-in, thanks to him only. -Location is good but holiday Inn has better location with better quality and similar price - Coffee machine - Room is better than photos

- Shower, you cannot hold, old type (no prb with water pressure) - Night shift ladies, they were so hesitant even to call for taxi at 5 am. - No complimentary water - Bathroom old

Faded glory and shabby service disappointed.

Close to main tourist attractions

Poor room location - our view was a wall of the opposite building and could have been much better for the cost. There were rooms with views over Franklin Place and downtown. The room decor was shabby with peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, the standard of daily cleaning was poor, there was a dangerous open panel below the aircon with sharp brackets, and the aircon made a continual knocking sound when switched off. The TV lost sound after 10-15 mins. Despite reporting these faults, only an attempt to correct the TV was made (Unsuccessfully). The reception manager told us all had been looked at, but this wasn't the case. The staff member who served us for dinner in the restaurant was very rude and even tried to argue about the definition of a dessert vs a teaspoon! The food was unremarkable and four clams in the tagliatelle was really a rip-off. A very disappointing experience overall due to multiple small issues which the hotel showed no desire to put right despite being given the opportunity.

Great stay, great staff - need to fix kinks or whatever so folks don't walk away wrong charges.

For the most part, everything went well. Staff was nice, friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed and I felt at home.

I didn't understand why there was a $400 incidentals fee; I also didn''t get a satisfactory explanation why my charge card had a pending $177 parking fee charge, since I didn't drive! It was taken off right away, but the explanations were vague, and made me wonder was I a ID theft problem waiting to happen...

Enjoyed the stay and would stay in the same hotel again without a doubt.

Service was excellent and the rooms very clean with extra bath towels sufficient for my family. Beds and pillows very comfortable.

The wifi was quite weak on the 8th floor.

the location was 10/10

Lobby and elevators were a bit small. Water pressure was insanely high on the sinks, kept getting soaked. But otherwise a very nice hotel.

Very comfortable room. Beautiful view of park across the street. Enjoyed being welcomed with a glass of champagne! Nice touch!

Not knowing parking was $59 a night. That added a lot of cost to stay.

Comfortable and clean. Easy check in and check out. Within walking distance to most attractions and plenty of restaurants.

Can be noisy and exhaust fan in bathroom did not work.

Quick visit in central DC

Loved the location and that it was an historic hotel.

Wish they had done a better job of having tours or explained why the hotel is historic. Should have an afternoon tea and tour of the hotel for interested guests.

Location was great. Short walk to Washington Monument. Lovely size room with view over Franklin Square.

Service charges expensive. Asked what for answer was maintenance of ice machines. Didn’t use. Room was hot. Could not regulate temperature. Room was meant to be serviced. Housekeeping hadn’t been so after a long day out had to request coffee and clean towels.

The room was clean! I love the amenities. The bed was super comfortable. The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The pictures I uploaded were actually from a video I took.

Great stay!

This is the 4th time I have stayed at the Hamilton and I will likely stay again when I come to DC! The location is absolutely ideal near an easy metro stop in the center of the city. About a 10 minute walk to the White House. The food in the bar/restaurant is heavenly, the staff are friendly, the park nearby is great (they've cleaned it up and it really is a bonus amenity to the hotel now in my opinion), and everything was comfortable! Decent price.

The heat in the hotel was absolutely blazing to where it was hard to not be overheated. Even in the room, we could not get the heat to stop, but it was cold out and I haven't experienced this there before.

amazing stay

location is highly accessible and near metro station. It’s very near to the main tourist attractions. Very professional courteous and helpful staff. They allowed us for early check in and gave us room which has the best view. Room is very clean and comfortable.

Room doors are made of wood and they are a bit old. when you lock the door there is a small gap that small card or envelope can be inserted thru.
