Location might work for some people in certain situations but there is a Comfort Suites right around

Location was conveinient for me on this trip...

Consistently bad Wifi connection...it is disconcerting to hear, for the very first time in my life, a motel's Wifi system "...was incompatible with iFones.." ...on my laptop it was horribly inconsistent, often crashing and then taking forever to reconnect...a staff person did offer tome up and help but she never showed up...

The location

I asked for a ground floor room but there weren't any available. The bedding mind you a non smoking room had cigarette burns on both beds, The floor was filthy. The bathroom door had a splatter of something possibly blood on it that I had to put a bag over my hand and clean it with my Clorox wipes. I mainly stay at motel 6 whenever I need a local room for the night especially if I'm traveling out of town and this is by far the worst one I've stayed at. I really hope owners/ managers really do read our reviews because I really like staying at motel 6 mainly because they are pet friendly and staff are always so nice and welcoming. So I hope they put a little more focus on how the rooms are being kept/cleaned and the hospitality of staff. The front desk although was not rude but not too friendly, was a first for me to experience at a motel 6 ever. C'mon Motel 6 DO BETTER!!!

Not clean and poorly maintained

There's no way Tom Bodett would stay here! It was so bad there was no point in complaining or asking to change rooms because it was a holistic disaster! There were stains on the sheets and a wad of hair when I pulled back the covers. There were also burns on the sheets and bedspread which matched the skunk smell of pot that permeated the walls. The fridge still had items left in it and the tub was disgusting. I was sure I'd get a foot fungus! I was concerned about bed bugs but didn't see any though the room was covered in crawling bugs of various kinds. They didn't say there wasn't any room service but in 4 days they never serviced the room. At one point my key card stopped working so I went to the office to get a new one. The person helping me asked for the room number and just gave me a key! No ID, no questions, NO security! The door and windows let in all the sound from outside and it is very noisy all night as it's also a Select 6 which is an extended stay. It's been about 20 years since I've tried a Motel 6 but on this trip, it was just me without my wife or family so I tried it. Never again! Don't worry about leaving the light on for me because it didn't work anyway!

when I reserved this hotel my special request was 2 extra pillows. when I called the front desk they told me they couldn’t get them because the room where they are stored was lock. very disappointed when this was requested a long time ago.

Disappointing

The location is pretty central to everything in Fresno, a bunch of stores & restaurants around. But can be sketchy during the night.

The shower in our room did not have a hot water, they tried to fix it but i am assuming the issue was with the boiler and most likely other rooms around didn't have a hot water neither. A discount i was given for that was $10... Cleanliness of the room can be better, bunch of hair found in the sink, on the towels and bed.
