So comfortable, well definitely be back

The staff was super friendly and helpful! Parking was easy and secure, the junior suit was spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, they also have water refill stations on a couple floors which was really nice and helpful considering we forgot to pack extra waters and the bistro/ Starbucks downstairs were soo good!

Especially nice and friendly staff

The parking garage, being able to walk to the places we wanted to visit. Being allowed to keep our car there until 4 the day of checkout was especially nice.

Some hotels allow adult only access to the pool area, it's a really nice perk to have a nice perk for naturally nocturnal people.

It satisfied us for what we needed .

We don’t get a chance to go to breakfast .

The room had no microwave , and the lampshade was broke , and the table had a busted leg . The shower had some stains . The bed was really uncomfortable . I’ve stay at other downtown Marriott and they were updated .

I wish I didn’t pay such a higher amount of money for what I got it was not worth it!

I liked the fact that’s it was in down town Grand Rapids and in walking distance of things.

The staff were really rude and not helpful and we asked a simple question about the breakfast and one of them just immediately started raising her voice. Also I mostly came for the hot tub for me to relax in and apparently it was closed down, the rooms were a lot smaller then I thought, the breakfast did not have very many options for you to pick from and you had to choose one of the items, The pool was freezing. And most of all the staff were just not welcoming!

Loved the area but will be finding other places to stay next time

We liked the location and how close it was to the event we were attending

Did not like the fact the the beds were TERRIBLE and the shower was ice cold we couldn’t even shower. We also weren’t appreciative of the fact that we paid so much for our room and there was no complimentary breakfast and that we also had to pay for our parking to stay at the hotel seems really money hungry and a little ridiculous

Great place for an overnight!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, I love that they are connected to the skywalk, which made it easy for us to get over to the van andel arena for our concert, and we got to wait in the warm vs outside in the cold and snow. Starbucks inside the bistro which also had great food!!

I was highly impressed, there wasn't anything I didn't like

Excellent!

Carla at the front desk was exceptional! She was very welcoming and professional. She went above and beyond to answer all of our questions about things to do and places to eat in GR. She is definitely an asset to your organization!! She needs to be recognized for how she makes your guests feel! Outstanding!

It was a fantastic stay and I will definitely be back.

The room was gorgeous, the staff was super friendly and it was in a great location.

The pool area definitely needs a renovation.

Checking in was difficult as the reservation for booking.com had some glitches but the staff was help exspecially Jay who was fabulous and patient with trying to figure out what happen

The beds were comfortable.

Took 14 hours to get some towels, didn't bring enough for all of us, hot tub wasn't working, if it wasn't for my boyfriend being handicapped we wouldnt have been able to even park cuz the only spot available was the handicap spot. Body wash had 2 pumps available, ice machine didn't work. Elevators kepts going up and down in between stops and there were stains on the couches. But all in all it was ok, just super pricey for being mediocre

Overall a nice stay that just needs some tweaks.

The wait staff at the restaurant and bar were absolutely delightful!

Housekeeping knocked on my door at 930am while we were still in bed. They need to have a list of people who are checking out that day so they don't disturb us. Either that, or tell them when we check out so they know they aren't disturbing us. Also, the checking staff was delightful while interacting, but every single one of them looks like they don't want to be there. None were smiling until being approached. It really just set a bad mood. When you are in customer service, you need to be smiling and sitting up and ready for customers to walk in. What's crazy to me is that when we walk in, they didn't perk up. We had to approach for them to perk up.

Was okay just wish parking was better.

that it was right downtown Grand Rapids

The parking is terrible both of there lots were full on multiple occasions. We were told to valet our car at the JW hotel up the block and told they would pay for it. the whole point of staying downtown was to have quick & easy access but their parking situation was incredibly frustrating.

Good but for the cost I expected more at >$300/night

great location, parking convenient but disappointed that there was an additional charge to park- on top of $$$ room price

additional parking fee, bar hours (closed after concert and would have like to have one drink to settle after concert at 11pm), I thought when it said river view in booking the room, that meant the room would have a "river view" not just the hotel.

Would not recommend or stay again. Not worth the price paid

No included breakfast

Room was dirty. Carpet had stains and wet spots, fridge had leftover food in there. Shower was unable to be turned on prior due to the door and sprayed water all over the floor while showering.

Great location and hotel

The area was connected but indoor walkways. Walkways went to many restaurants and even the concert venue. Courtyard was centrally located.

Exceptional

The below deck parking was extremely tight to maneuver (we also had a large truck though) so my only real problem with this space was that it was only one lane wrapped around. Another car came around the opposite side and we were both stuck until they were able to back up.
