For the price, Black Jack Inn had everything I wanted, especially a microwave, mini fridge, and wifi

There are plenty of electrical outlets and pillows. King bed was comfortable. Although room is small, there was just enough space to accommodate my stretching routine. Staff appears to be available 24/7. While my friends stayed at Hard Rock Hotel because of the dog friendly nature, I chose BJI because the room has a microwave and mini fridge so I can prepare my own healthy breakfast. Moreover, it was only a 10-15 minute walk to Hard Rock Hotel to load the truck and ready the boat for the day's fishing. Otherwise, Hard Rock Hotel charges $20 for parking.

Towels are replaced daily, but only the bath towels as I missed my face towel after the first night. On the last night, I asked at the front desk for face towels. For my short stay, I would have preferred no towel exchanges and would have requested it had I known that there was daily towel service. At 7am begins the coffee/tea service, but I was unable to utilize it because I was out the door by 5am for fishing and didn't return until after the coffee/tea service was closed. Upon arrival, I noticed our sink was leaking which makes me sad because of our CA drought. In the shower, the conditioner bottle did not pump out conditioner which you don't find out until you're in the shower.

Good stay with family!

The staff was good and helpful. The lady at the reception was very responsive and helpful. The location was perfect as it is very close to restaurants and shops and gas stations.

The bathroom was bit smaller. The rooms need to bit more soundproof as you can hear all the talks from the adjacent rooms in the night.

Dtayed at Blackjack to ski Heavenly. The gondola was an easy walk in ski boots.

Recently updated room, super clean bathroom, nice and cosy, good price, quiet, well-plowed parking lot, super easy late check-in procedure. Great stay all round.

Great Staff, Rooms, Location

Such a hospitable and warm staff - welcoming, accommodating, easy to have a conversation with. Loved the clean rooms and the location can't be beat (it's across the street from the Heavenly gondola and all the shops/restaurants).

Perfect for ski trip!

Place is impeccably clean! Bathrooms are new, and room was made up every day (lost luxury nowadays). Can’t beat the location, literal 5 min. walk, in ski boots, to the gondola.

Good location, comfy bed, clean, friendly staff, fair price compared to other properties in the area.

I could hear the pipelines *constantly*, and when my next door neighbor was using his, it was much louder. No laundry machine. Restaurants across the street playing music outside, quite noisy.
