Very disappointing

Fantastic location & wonderful public rooms. We also attended a private magic show organised by the hotel which was truly fantastic

We had stayed at the Lotte Palace before and had high expectations. However, when we arrived the hotel was absolutely rammed with conference delegates. For the first few days of our stay the public areas of the hotel were uncomfortably crowded & worse there was a lengthy queue to use the lifts to the room. On one occasion we waited 20 minutes just to head up to our room to collect an umbrella. Our rooms were tired and in need of investment, but it was the experience of the public areas which was the major disappointment. Nonetheless it was regrettable that when we asked to move rooms we were charged a significant amount for an upgrade. The crowds subsided by the weekend - but since we left on the Saturday that was little consolation. Had we known this in advance we would have booked somewhere else.

Overall hotel was great place to stay with our New York adventures. The staff is great and the rooms are nice.

Great location for doing things in Midtown. We saw two musicals and was great to be able to make the 15 minute walk. There are so many great restaurants close by as well

Ask for a top or 20 floor and above room. One of our rooms was on the 11th floor and we looked at a wall. Our other room was on the 31st floor and it was a spectacular view of the church

A top-notch stay in a huge room with a spellbounding view.

Room service dining was exceptional... as was the view from the very large room.

I was a little surprised at the lack of a refridgerator and coffee service. But the coffee that was delivered was exceptional and made up forthat minor note.

Happy with the outcome

Original room allocated was substard - tired, broken safe. But we were reallocated to a room in the towers that met our expectations.

Great location, ok room

The location is great and the building is beautiful. The room size is ok, as well as the bathroom. Staff was very kind and helpful!

I found the beds a bit small (double bed) for 2 people, and there was nothing in the room that differentiated this hotel from other good hotels.

Location was absolutely perfect and the only thing better was the staff. Everyone from the bell men to the front desk to room service were so kind and helpful.

Don’t stay in a Lotte hotel if you want a 5 star hotel.

Very disappointed, no room service after 11:30 pm. Very old bathroom, no itens in the frigobar at all. No shower cap 😧. It’s not a 5 star hotel standard at all. Everything very old in the hotel. If want to stay in a 5 stars hotel, don’t stay there for sure!

Exquisite beauty, exemplary service, stunning views and a central location.

Beautiful property, with exquisite features in the Villard Mansion areas. Our room on the 9th floor was spotless, well equipped and had the most amazing view of the Cathedral. Only wish we had more time to stay there longer. The Bellman Matt was another highlight of our stay - supremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Michael on reception was also very helpful and attentive to our needs.

I wish we could have stayed longer, and I wish we knew about the spa - would have loved to have spent some time relaxing in there.

Very good

The holiday/Christmas decoration was beautiful. My family enjoyed it a lot. The room view overlooking St Patrick’s Cathedral and city view was amazing. Staff were nice.

No free breakfast for the amount we paid. 😞 The restaurant and cafe were always full. We’ll it was a holiday season. The curtains inside the room, I didn’t like. Sorry.

It was perfect in every way.

Location of hotel, room was a decent size with views of the busy streets of New York, amazing skyline at night. Inhouse cafe was convenient, with hot and cold drinks and food available all day. In all areas of the hotel the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Christmas tree and decorations were festive and opulent.

Awesome location to experience New York.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Complimentary coffee in the lobby/lounge would have been nice in the morning. Additional expense for internet.
