Looks nice on the outside but the rooms were basic, dust hanging from the ceiling, and terrible smells in the hallways and rooms. Okay for a couple nights if you need to be close to the beach.

I have always stayed in this hotel when I go to Santa Monica. It is convenient. The staff are very accommodating.

I wish they had a refrigerator in the room.

The front desk staff were so helpful since we booked the room for two but when we arrived we needed to add another person to the room. There was no problem at all, we got a wonderful room with two beds. The hotel location was great it was close to many shops, restaurants. So happy we stayed at this hotel and hope to come back some day.

It didn't bother me but my husband said it was very noisy outside our hotel and it kept him awake. It is a very popular area for partying until early morning. It might have been better to ask for a higher hotel room.
