Gut bis Mitternacht

Die Zimmer sind sauber, geräumig und hell, die Betten ausreichend groß und gut. Das Hotel liegt günstig in der Nähe eines Safeway Supermarktes, einer Tankstelle und des Stadtzentrums. Ein schöner Pool/See wurde in der Mitte der Anlage installiert. Auch die Preise von knapp 80 Euro in der Nebensaison sind für Estes Park akzeptabel.

Ich würde der Einrichtung empfehlen, bei wenig Kundschaft die Parteien nicht räumlich nebeneinander einzubuchen. Wenn gegen 1 Uhr morgens ihr Zimmernachbar (Raum 402) offensichtlich betrunken die Musik hochdreht und rumjohlt, dann kriegt man durch die dünnen Wände alles mit: Alles. Da kann man auch gegen die akustisch schlecht isolierte Trenntür zum anderen Zimmer pochen oder lautstark beim Zimmernachbarn die Nachtruhe einfordern: Alles umsonst. Endlich nach drei Uhr wurde es dann ruhiger auf der anderen Zimmerseite...

Reasonably priced, comfortable & clean -- just not under the lobby unless you're an early riser

The staff at Discovery have always been helpful & polite. The location is great as well, especially if attending a wedding in the area. The room isn't fancy but there's a TV if you need it, decent internet, microwave, fridge and has always been clean & comfortable.

I've stayed here a few times and the first couple stays were great. We booked ground floor and just heard normal, older hotel walking around noises from the upstairs. However, our third stay we had a room underneath the lobby and it was non-stop noise from 6 am onwards: walking, chair sliding, things dropping, things dropping & rolling alllll the way across the room, etc., making it impossible to sleep.

Excellent location with outstanding views of the mountains and lake.

The room had an exceptional view looking out at the mountains and nearby lake. Also of note was the breakfast which included cheese omelets and waffles.

Parking was a bit cramped but was not a big problem because the property was not fully booked. However, if even it was at 50%, parking would be a problem.

The location was great, the staff was very friendly and the place was very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are being renovated and the rooms already done are beautiful looking.

LOVED that you can wake up to elk in the morning on the golf course!!!

The only thing we have to complain about. Our door did not lock correctly. We did tell the front desk once we checked out so they can fix it for the next guest.

The rom was a means to an end and we enjoyed it for that reason.

A waste can in the bathroom would have been helpful. A clock and a mirror in the main area would have been nice.

Great location for access to Rocky Mountain National Park and in Estes Park with lots of shops and restaurants.Very nice grounds, gazebo, fire pit, hot tub

Breakfast was so small and weak that they could have skipped it altogether and charges less for the room

Great location, room was nice and clean. Breakfast could be improved.

The location of the hotel was great! It was close to downtown, Lake Marina, restaurants, grocery, etc. The room was clean and it was a decent size for our family of 4. Outside the hotel, there was a playground for kids, hammock, gazeebo, benches which was nice. It was really cool when on our first night, there were a couple of elks in the yard. You have to request to clean the room so make sure you let the staff know.

The only reason I gave this a 7 was the breakfast. They served eggs, sausage, and burrito which were frozen. We stayed here for 3 nights and when we found out that's what they serve for breakfast, we didn't bother having breakfast there on the next few days. So if you are looking for hot breakfast, you will be disappointed.

the driveway is a bit hazardous. be careful pulling out.

Convenient location and competitive rates! Will be back!

Competitive rates. Nice big rooms. Minifrig, coffeemaker and microwave in room. Walking distance to river and downtown. Enjoyed the farmers market at visitor center Thursday morning. Gazebo had a grill available and campfire wood available for your evening entertainment/leisure activities.

Breakfast was just so so. I’ve learned to request room with balcony because the lower floor you can hear footsteps above.
