Location, convenience of being able to cook as we had a full kitchen, and the staff is the best!

The location of The Lakeview Inn & Cottages was really nice. It was within walking distance to Weirs Beach and the Boardwalk with all the little restaurants & shops. The Inn's staff were very sweet, personable, and accommodating if we needed an iron, extra towels, or an extra blanket & pillow. The area was filled with many tourist-friendly destinations like Fun Spot, the Kellarhaus (ice cream), and many others.

I really wanted to love this place, but I was disappointed with the cottage we stayed in. It was very small for a 2-bedroom cottage. The only thing in the bedrooms was the bed and two tiny nightstands with wall sconces and a ceiling fan for lighting. Yes, there was a well-stocked kitchen, but we hardly used it because the cottage was so small. There were no closets or shelves for any type of unpacking or storage. We lived out of suitcases for the time we were there. It was cramped for a family of three. There was a small view of the lake from the kitchen window. The most disappointing thing about our stay was the incredible loudness of the road in front of our cottage. We were right on the main road (Tower St.) and from 5 a.m. to well past midnight, you could hear loud motorcycles, racing cars, garbage trucks, and construction vehicles. It was not a quiet, peaceful vacation that we were hoping for.

Very friendly staff; made us feel special! Loved the personal touch and Janet’s homemade muffins in the morning. Perfect location, close to the boardwalk, beach and restaurants. Nice pool. Just a great experience…we’ll be back.

Older rooms but very clean and well-kept

The beds were comfortable. Full sized fridge.

The electricity excuse. Maintenance man came in and did exactly what the employee told us they had tried on the LIVING room main light, and ALL of the lights worked. Parking was for 1 car. For the price I paid, location was there, but overall cottage was not up to what my party had hoped.

The view was amazing, the room was perfect, clean, and all the patio furniture throughout the property was gorgeous and perfect!
