It’s ok not good as others IHG

Room 209 one of bed made squeaky sounds. Very noisy and distracting. Parking space is small and limited.

Great place, great staff.

The employees were great. I had an issue with my ac and maintenance was quick to get it going. The front desk employee was great as well, I wish I remembered the maintenance guy and front desk guys name. I will be back for the 2024 boilermaker.

Nothing serious but the frig was frozen over.

Location, cleanliness, staff, comfortable room. Travis at the front desk when checking in AND out ( I don't think he ever went home that weekend) was very personable and informative. Always ready with friendly conversation.

Honestly, there was nothing I could write about here. I have a pretty stifff checklist for choosing hotels to stay at before making a reservation. Perhaps the cost was a little on the high side, but it was a special event weekend in Utica, and it's the way of the world with supply and demand when it comes to cost.

Nothing staff was irresponsible

They canceled my reservation when I spoke to a front desk staff and he assured me my room was good I have two small children with me left with nowhere to stay in the middle of the night in a place we are unfamiliar with

Hair in the bath tub, water in bathroom sink wouldn't drain out, Looked like blood spots stained on bedding,Breakfast was O.K.

It was an average stay.

Location was amazing next to everything.

There was hair on the bedsheets that didn't belong to us and the pool was not open.

A better than average hotel

It was clean and comfortable, and an ideal midway point between Boston MA and Niagra, Ontario. We were given vouchers for a free drink each at a lovely Italian restaurant nearby (Tavolo).

They had a problem with the checking in system where we were charged twice for our room but this was rectified within a few days.

A better than average hotel

The hotel was clean and comfortable and as we had stayed there for a night a few days previously on the way to Niagra Falls we had liked it then so decided to stay again on the way back to Harrison, NY.

We were again charged twice for our room and the receptionist apologised that there was a fault in the system and assured us that the additional charge would be removed. We stayed on the ground floor this time and it was annoying to hear water constantly rushing through the pipes from the upper floor.

Disappointing

It is in the middle of the city.

Every surface of the room was dusty. The floor was not vacuumed. There were dirty washcloths left in the shower. I has to ask house keeping for clean items and this specific person said " I didn't clean that room, it was someone else's to clean" .

The actual employees where great and kind but nothing seemed organized.

The staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. The members of management seemed to talk down to the staff.

The pool was broke and the GM made it seem like all the properties in the area had broken pools due to temps. We chose to stay at that hotel specifically for the pool and our son was extremely disappointed. We requested an early check in, our room was not ready until after the main check in time. We were late to our event. When we finally made it to our room, food was left in the fridge, coffee pods left in the kureg, dust on the furniture and the clocks had not been changed even though it had happened the weekend before our stay.

If the pool worked it would have been a nice stay, but the breakfast and room was good.

The breakfast was good and plentiful. There was enough space for everyone to eat and enjoy themselves.

The pool was out of order and we chose this hotel specifically for the pool. The front desk man told us it was out of order for a month and that we should have known that. He was rude. The next front desk person said it was only out since thursday. She was nice. In addition, there was a group of hockey players running around and we had to tell them to stop multiple times. Also, I was told to call the general manager, Nicole, and she never called me back. Also the drain did not drain and they did give us a small $20 discount for the inconvenience.
