We would stay there again but go to breakfast earlier. Everyone was friendly

Close to stores and restaurants, has a bar but no food.

No elevator. Breakfast was not restocked, out of some goods by 7:00

Great experience.

The 2 guys who worked the front counter, were very helpful, not to mention funny. They made our time there way fun.

The location is ideal. It's half way between the Black Hills and Deadwood/ Spearfish. There's so much to do the area, and Rapid City was a great place to be as a home base.

Very disappointing.

Location was okay.

The outside temperature was between 80 - 100 degrees. Two rooms were reserved. The air conditioning in both units was not working properly. Calls were made to the front desk. Absolutely no help was provided. I had to go to Walmart to purchase fans so the temperature was tolerable.

The bathroom was broken and the room wasn't very clean, the bed was hairy from what I think was the person before so the sheets most likely was not changed. They offered breakfast but they did not want to restock anything but bagels.

It was over prized, things were broken, and staff was hard to get.

There was a lot of stores and places to eat within walking distance

Front desk worker was hard to get a hold of, had to use the shower head to fill up the tub for a bath, and there had been no work to modernize the stay. I felt like I was back in the early 2000s.

Rooms were very dated. Stained chairs, musty smell. Missing towels, dirty towels on back of the door. No toilet paper. Tub took 45 minutes to drain. Unclean, sticky floors in the "breakfast ' area.

Horrible and disgusting, I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy

Nothing, it was horrible. I guess if I had to say ONE nice thing about it, the location was nice

The homeless man sleeping in the hallway, and how he completely damaged everything right outside our hotel room door, then they left the mess for hours. The food he left (sushi and lasagna) was also left out and open for hours so the hall started to stink

Good service at the front desk but very poor stay.

The clerk at check in was friendly and courteous. The lobby was free of clutter and well maintained.

To begin with, the shower was dirty the toilet paper wasn’t filled and there were no soaps in the restroom. The room attendant also left an empty bottle of shampoo in the shower. The bed was not made correctly and the comforter was a mess at the foot of the bed. The pillows were the tiny little throw pillow kinds of things that couldn’t have been any bigger the 14” square. Too, the shower had very weak pressure. The room had a very dated feel to it. It felt like a motel room from the 1970s. I know the former owners of this motel and Jerry Gill would be rolling over in his grave if he knew what I had experienced. My suggestion would be to update/remodel the rooms and hire some cleaning staff that aren’t drunk. I’ll never stay here again.

location is good for the west side of Rapid City but the hotel is run down and over priced.

very poor selection. and the eating area was not clean and was cold. no one at the main desk ever.

general cleaning and maintenance of the rooms and building needed. clear walkways when there is snow and ice. no housekeeping services. police visit one night don't know why.

Don't expect much

Staff was good and efficient.

The people in the room nextdoor were loud most of the evening so I couldn't sleep and the outdoor space for my dog was very limited. Melted ice cream in the mini fridge.

Password on wifi did not get connected some lights did not turn on. Restroom too small. Nobody cleans the ground on parking lot.

Slept well, very quiet.

Close to restaurants and grocery store in walking distance, clean bathroom, quiet.

Breakfast options limited, no whole grain options, no protein choices, hallway carpets could use a deep cleaning.

Overall it was a comfortable stay and we will stay again

I was unable to eat the breakfast because of my low carb and low sugar diet requirements. The coffee was good!

The bathroom good have been cleaner and more towels needed in the Bathroom. The hallway needed to be vacuumed.

Good location

Towels and blankets were old and had holes. Water was not very hot. Breakfast offering was poor and non existent one day. No staff around.

The staff was really friendly and very helpful and accomadating. we would return because of them.

Breakfast was ok. Would like to see some Apples or Bananas or Oranges in the morning. Otherwise it was a standard breakfast.

We didn't have a small microwave in the room. We used the one downstairs in the breakfast area so it wasn't the end of the world but in the room would be nice.

Fleas in the bed, the door lock wasn’t working properly, neither was the AC, so there was a plug in fan to supplement it. The place was an absolute disaster

Initially I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned from a previous visit, they were very accommodating in assigning another room. It was noisy at night, garbage was being picked up at 5am. I know it’s hard to find workers and the homeless population in the area is bad. I know it’s not their fault.
