How clean it was. The beds were soft

The pillows were not good.
I had 2 rooms booked that I was paying for. One for me and my wife and a second for my elderly in-laws. Upon check-in I was at the front desk and they were waiting for me on 3. The desk clerk would not let me check in both rooms. She made me have one of my in-laws come down and be present to check in. This delayed us by around 15 minutes. That's not a long time but this was an event weekend and there were many people in line who were also inconvenienced.

We could never get anyone to answer the phone from the front desk, we tried at least 10 different times. I also requested my suite to be clean because I had guest coming over that evening. We followed the online (early AM )instructions for room cleaning for the day and asked for additional glasses in the detail section and nothing occurred. The cleaning attendant was just outside our room when we left for the day. She spoke no English when we tried to get her assistance. It was very disappointing because our room (RM 1948)was perfect for entertaining for cocktails.

Checked in on Fri morning and valeted car, a brand new car. Go to check out Saturday afternoon and valet brings car with huge damage to drivers door. They were just gonna hand us the keys and I guess hope we didn't see damage. When asked why we weren't contacted, employee stated we didn't know where you were. They stated a car did a hit and run as soon as we dropped off that Friday morning. No police report because they said they had guns and refused to stop. This has been a huge inconvenience not to mention I have lost 2,500 dollars in depreciation on a brand new car, as this will show up on Car Fax in the future.

Great location for Pelican and Saints game. Easy walk to the stadium! Staff was very professional in every aspect.

It was right next to the Smoothie King Center, which was why we were in New Orleans.
Air conditioner was crazy loud, but maintenance did replace the broken part. Just can’t understand why they did not fix it before we checked-in.
Not sure if we would stay there again at the $320/night room rate.

Quiet rooms even though they were very busy
They claimed to have 24 hrs food service,limited of course, but no one ever answered the phone

The hotel is beautiful and clean. There really wasn’t a need to leave the hotel because it has everything you need. I forget the name of the restaurant, but the food was delicious. The ladies at the Lagniappe store were warm and friendly!
