The hotel shows it’s age and is like a maze to get around. the staff was excellent in assisting us with all our needs. t

the staff. they were excellent. Very helpful. The breakfast was amazing too

the room are old and dated. our blinds had tears in the fabric as well as the window screens

Location

facilities were run down, felt dirty, and smelled like animal urine in the section where we were staying. We ended up staying the night in a cheaper and a lot cleaner and updated.

Very Comfortable

The girl at the front desk when I checked in around 7 pm was exceptional and very helpful. Easy and fast check in and out. Even ask to stay past checkout another 30 mins and had no issues. Very accommodating and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again....

The only thing and its not a big deal but my shoes squeeked on the floor when I walked around the room.

Disappointing

Unfortunately we had to down grade because of a hot washer.issue. the bed was uncomfortable. The room was smaller and not remodeled. I don't like carpet. Any way breakfast was good

I paid for a junior suite. I wasn’t give one, instead I was given a standard room with two queen beds instead of a suite one king bed. it wasn’t until AFTER I had gone into the room and let the receptionist up front know that the room was not what I paid for. She then tried to tell me that it would be more if I wanted that room I had already booked online here in the app and that there was no rooms of that kind available since they’re renovating. I would’ve liked to known this BEFORE I had checked in as a common courtesy not after I get upstairs expecting the room I paid for already. I found an ant in bed as well. The TV remote did not work on the volume or page button, only on the on and off button. So my Tv was blaring loud when I was watching TV at night. I also had to consistently go downstairs to the lobby to rescan my cards when they should’ve worked right from the beginning for two days and when I asked to re-do the cards one of the receptionist was acting as if it was an inconvenience on her for me to ask her to renew the cards.

near freeway and close to old town auburn.

Staff was extremely rude and didn’t communicate. Won’t be going back. When we first got there, there was a sign that said back in 10 min. They weren’t I had to call. I asked for a late checkout, awesome they said yes at 1pm and then 3 people came to the door, the 1st an hour before 11 Am checkout. The second apparently because they don’t communicate and the 3rd was the lady I spoke to on the phone who gave me a late checkout who banged on my door yelling front desk telling me it was time to checkout at around noon.

Several small nuisances

The rooms were absolutely quiet. We didn't hear anything from any other guests. The beds were good.

There was only one trash can in the whole room and trying to get another one didn't work. There's no coffee maker, the remote only worked once in a while, no daily room service, no clock in the room, one of the lampshades was crushed. I asked for more towels and was given unfolded towels to fold myself. Not a lot of earth shattering problems but a lot of nuisances.

Fun place for a lil getaway from home

Have stayed at this property often over the last 2 1/2 years. The staff is always incredible and very helpful. We do our family weekends/stress free time getaways every 2 weeks in auburn and this is the place we will stay 9 times out of 10. The rates are always great. The junior suites are a very good size for the rates they usually are. Similar to what you’d pay at a Hilton/Hyatt/Marriott for a regular queen room! The corporate suites are also amazing. Definitely do the corporate if you have a toddler and they like to run around! Big “living room/seating” area with a couch(with pullout bed), 2 chairs, coffee table and huge tv’s in every room. The pool is kept very nice and you’re right next to a Starbucks, fast food, grocery and restaurants all within less than a 5 min drive. This is one of our favorite hotels to say the least. If you’re booking a stay in auburn i highly recommend Red Lion Inn.
