Sleeping with the Bugs

The location was good and the people there were friendly.

It was dirty. It has cockroaches and ladybugs that crawled on me in my bed. It was super old and dusty. Dirty with cobwebs. Not clean.

Clean, comfy, a great value. But a bit noisy.

Very clean, comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with what we got compared to what we paid.

Our room faced the highway, and was next to the outdoor common porch area with a table and chairs. Between the other guests out there smoking and chatting late at night, truck traffic and emergency vehicles, it was a pretty noisy night. Maybe we'll ask for a room on the back side next time.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay and wished we had more time there!

Awesome location! Very unique. Wonderful, friendly, quirky staff. GREAT restaurant!!

The door lock was really difficult. Even though our key cards read as “green light”, took too many swipe times/too much effort to get the door open. Also, a dirty towel from the previous guests was still in our room!

Relaxing

I stayed in a one room cabin this time for one night. I enjoyed my little get a way very much. It was so cozy and just what I needed. The jacuzzi and fireplace were great and I felt safe. The couch was worn so I didn’t use it, but the bed was very comfortable. The location is near a grocery store and several fast food restaurants, a Dollar General, & a couple of unique gift shops. It’s a quick drive from Nashville but feels like I’m far away. These cabins are my go to for a mental break.

Disappointed, we've stayed here before and it was such a different experience.

Close to the caverns

None of our bedding was clean and we had a dried, old, used tampon in our bed, tucked in under our sheets along with dirt.

The restaurant out back was great! Live music trio was VERY entertaining! Food was excellent! Staff was friendly, helpful (recommended breakfast place). The bed/mattress was SOOOO comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

People next door were VERY loud in the morning. Nothing else. It was overall very good.

We came in the winter so we were pleasantly surprised by the snow, jacuzzi, and pile of cut wood for the fire place. It

Cabins had their own front and back yard. There were many options of things to do in the summer time as well. We came in the winter so we were pleasantly surprised by the snow, jacuzzi, and pile of cut wood for the fire place. It was all very cozy and warm.

Wi-Fi signal was poor as well as the cable. We brought our Roku so we were able to use that as our hotspot.

Nothing!

I booked a room online only to go up there for them to tell me that they do not book local residents 😳 WRONG !! I have stayed here over 50 + times throughout my life! I know in 2021 I stayed at least 5 times if not more. I have currently been out of water following the storm on 12/30/22 and wanted to stay to get a good night's rest and to shower and relax!!! I was told to contact the manager the next day which was 1/1/23 and speak to them. I have not done so. I find this very disturbing and also discrimination!!

Ok place to stay if your on a tight budget.

Good locaton and price - I would call it economy lodging. The room was clean.

The Smoke House restaurant burned down last year and they did not rebuild it. They only have a patio grill that is only open on the weekends. No breakfast provided. Mattress was pretty saggy.

everything was good. just a bit noisy with cars driving by and other guests walking by.

towels and sheets seemed clean.

I had gotten the feeling that this “lodge” was located a little more out in the country. It was right off a main road. There was lots of noise from the high way and neighboring guests walking by.

Absolutely beautiful! The bed was so comfortable I actually woke up underneath it! Since my daughter goes to St Andrews, I will be back and it will be the only place I Stay for the remainder of her school days. Much love, Leslie
