Location to the mountain

Kitchen was outdated and we couldn’t use the balcony.

We had a great time at this place. The staff was great and were willing to accommodate for us on our special circumstances.

The beds weren't as comfortable as I expected but everything else was great.

Everything seemed fine except the carpet. it was pretty dirty . I couldn’t walk without my shoes on once I saw my daughter’s socks after a few minutes her being without her shoes .it was dirty mainly in the leaving room and stairs going to the second floor . Also the kitchen towels need to be replaced , they are so old and stained.

What I like most is the location.It is close to the slope.The check in and check out process were smooth.The rooms were spacious. Kitchen was adequate.

Honestly the inconvenience and hassle of having to remove all the used linens and bringing them to the laundry room is the only part I didn't like. In my experience renting I never had to do that. But good thing GM Karen extended our stay till 12nn.Other than that everything is fine.

Host made early check-in possible. Townhouse is large - easily sleeps 8 - 10 in good-sized bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Well maintained complex.

You get stuck in the Heavenly traffic at key times of day (8 - 9am and 3 - 4:30pm). The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans, pots, etc. but note that there are no spices, oil, etc. All that has to be brought from home or purchased.

The location was fine.

There was no air conditioning and they were having a heat wave (and we were told by the host they've been dealing with it for a few years now), and we felt we should have been notified at time of booking so we could make an informed decision (especially for $500+ a night). There were no ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms. They did provide a couple portable fans, but they were of little help. The master bathroom sinks filled up and drained really slow. The master bathroom shower head was about 5' 4" high, making it difficult to rinse your hair. The master bathroom toilet did not have an elongated bowl making it difficult for men. The master bathroom floor had old 6"x6" linoleum that was sticky. We wanted a place with a kitchen so we could cook meals, but due to the heat we couldn't. There were dried food and stains on the kitchen table chairs. Some of the blinds were broken, so hard to open and close. The balcony door was locked with a note we couldn't use it due to safety issues; it would have been some relief from the heat. The refrigerator froze our salad and fresh basil, so we had to throw it away.

Air conditioner could help better during hot summer

Close to S Tahoe and the staff was very attentive.

Extremely dated facility and without A/C in the summer it was very hot. Master bedroom was missing a screen and we were advised not to leave the 1st floor windows open due to bears. They gave us fans but we just couldn’t get the place cooled down at night-hot sleeping! Cable went out on our last night. Overall was expecting nicer facilities for the cost. Pictures posted on website made it look at lot better than it was.

only one good thing i can say its pretty spacious

no AC and with summer days at 85+ the second floor with all bedrooms are becoming a heatstroke hell after 3pm. I brought it up to their office that even a portable AC on the second floor on the sunny side would help but it was ignored. However they got AC in their office(!). And as many mentioned the townhouses are beyond dated - furniture, fixtures, utensils- everything screams out “cheap” and looks like a garage sale refuse at some old granny’s house. And they tend to rent townhouses to some “girls/boys night out” parties with a lot of noise at night which is not controlled at all. Oh and plumbing hardly works - shower water pressure is very weak and my wife almost got burned because water temperature jumped to scolding hot in a bit.

Staff very accommodating and helpful.

Missing screen at master bedroom. Front porch light not working. Warm at master bedroom. But all of it was taken care of the next day.

We loved it! Can’t wait to book our next trip!

A little far off of the main road.

We loved this place, it was nice and comfortable and clean and was close to where we can walk and go ski. Karen was amazing and really nice and made our stay even more enjoyable.
