Hôtel vraiment passable.

Petit motel de bord de route, avec un certain charme. La chambre était très propre mais elle ne vaut pas du tout le prix que nous avons payé.

Accueil expéditif. Vue les photos, je pensais me retrouver avec une chambre en bord de rivière mais il n’en fut rien. La chambre est sombre, très petite, avec un lit en 140 cm. Le chauffage est impossible à utiliser tellement il est bruyant et l’insonorisation avec l’extérieur est inexistante.

I'll definatley be back!

I loved it here! Nicer, cleaner and more modern than the pictures let on...literally steps away from a nice sandy beach on a swimmable part of the river.

Much better than a regular motel

Very well maintained older type motel. The room is big and has a a small kitchenette. Rustic furniture, made of logs. Next to the Kern river, an ideal place for fishing. Nice beach. Very good free wifi. Polite and very helpful staff.

Superb

The rooms are very clean and have a very cool cabin vibe with the decor. It's right next to the river. You can go on short walks along the river in the morning while having coffee. Very cool.

Comfort and convenience in a beautiful setting, just perfect.

Everything, it was truly home from home. Beautiful setting, next to a river. We loved the peacefulness of the location. Hosts both helpful and attentive. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Quiet, comfortable, and very welcoming.

Nice area and location. Not much available for food options, but the market across the street had a small sitting area for food they made. The staff there were great and all were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Beautiful scenery and motorcycle ride to and from the lodge was great.

The whole property is so serene and clean! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!!

The only thing I would change about our trip to Sequoia Lodge would be next time we are staying longer!

Very relaxing location,

Too far to walk to Kernville and lack of Uber made things isolating. Also lodge facilities very close to neighbours so all is shared and can get taken over losing your privacy.

Perfect riverside location

Amazing location on the river, we loved swimming in the river (and saw 2 beaver). Really friendly welcoming staff. Store/restaurant opposite stayed open late to make us dinner! Lovely atmosphere and really liked Kernville town.

The rooms smelt of cheap air freshener, beds weren’t that comfy. Also (my mistake), this property isn’t near Sequoia National Forest - but it ended up being a good mistake as we loved our trip here

was close to the river and all you need was a walk away. nice and quite. great retreat.

the air conditioner was making loud noise that keep us up at night.

Exceptional

We were staying here as a stop-off on a road trip through CA, but what a lovely haven of tranquility..... Within an hour of arriving we were swimming in the river just a couple of hundred feet away from the Lodge! We then the most beautiful dinner - which we cooked on the BBQ on-site! The hosts could not have been more helpful, friendly, and kind. It was a real find staying here - a beautiful spot.
