Avoid the 101 closet bedroom

Our room (101) was located downstairs in the lobby, directly in front of the entrance. It looked like a closet door and there was no room number. We could hear every conversation had at the front desk and each person leaving and entering the building. We asked the receptionist if we could have a different room and he said no. There was no apology or compensation. He said that “it was his best room and that people love it because it’s close to the entrance”. We were not sure if it was a joke. We do not recommend this hotel.

Would likely go there again

Good neighborhood. Target, restaurants (Peruvian on other side of street! Exzellent!) all nearby. Free safe parking in the side street. Hotel 100y old, so quite some atmosphere. Surprisingly quiet. Free trolley to connect with Miami around the corner.

Noisy A/C. Sometimes loud dripping noise from AC, seems like from the Room above where the AC water drips directly on the AC unit installed directly one level below. Who installs it like this? Rather old shower. Window faces wall

Il rapporto qualità prezzo di buon livello per Miami. I prezzi sono folli, qui otterrete una buona stanza ad un prezzo decisamente conveniente. Posizione su un quartiere molto tranquillo e signorile lontano dal caos. Si raggiunge in auto il centro in 20 minuti. Parcheggio comodo gratuito nelle strade laterali

Condionatore fa un rumore infernale. Siamo stati qua in Marzo quando ancora si poteva stare senza. Non oso immaginare a luglio e agosto come si dorme con quello acceso.

Wouldn’t recommend because not the greatest hotel, just the location was nice.

The only thing I like from the hotel was the location. It had coffee shops, restaurants and Target close by. I was just stopping by for 2 nights before traveling to a different destination and needed something affordable. Staff was healthful and let me leave the luggage after the check out for few hours.

The property was really old, the beds were very soft and making noise once turning. The furniture was from different styles, the “aircon” was making lots of noise, you could hear noise from the neighbours as well because the walls and the floors seemed paper. The shower water would go all other the place you could not have the proper shower. More water would finish on the floor then on you. No lift so to go to the second floor with luggage wasn’t ideal. It smelled like old. The sheets seemed to be synthetic and not cotton, so not really very comfortable to sleep. The lock on the door didn’t seem very secure and also during the night time there would be nobody at the resection and the hotel would be left unlocked, so didn’t look very secure specially with that type of locks on the rooms doors.

Great old hotel. Would stay at again.

Very nice old school Florida hotel. Very clean and well maintained. The location was great.

Nice one night stay in Coral Gables

Great colonial style hallways. Nice bathroom. Kitchenette. Good location in Coral Gables

The AC was set to a very cold temperature when I arrived at night. Beds were a bit wobbly.

Cozy beautiful

This place is absolutely beautiful.. It's absolutely charming very old... I was worried because I had to come a day earlier so I needed a place just for one day.. I was worried it was going to be a bad place .. It's absolutely charming smells like a little old grandma house.. just gorgeous.. gorgeous, and the person at the front desk was patient and understanding at this grumpy no sleeping for 2 days me ..lol So clean... like a museum

I am allergic to mold, and that's all I can smell .. I can smell it because I am allergic to it it burns my throat and skin .. It's not visible at all.. like I said, it's so beautiful.. so beautiful.. I am just very sensitive to mold is all .. Normal people may not realize it.. But I am only here for a couple of hours... Did I not say this place is charming... God, you can film a movie here.. I travel a lot and this is the most cozy place .. I am expecting my Italian grandmother to appear any min lol After riding on the amtrax for 2 days, I l99k rough and weird. lol, I would be scared of it too, lol I won't get much sleep ... but I will catch up at my villa tomorrow

The cleanliness and strategic decor. True to the recommendations I read, got off a cruise and was allowed early check in, to rest my tired bones.

Exceptional

Nice small hotel in a residatial and quite region of Miami. everything was clean and quite. the room had all the amenities we needed. nothing to complain about

the location is ideal if you a looking for a quite neighborhood and you have a car to move around. If you are looking for parties better you go somewhere else

Quite delightful!!

It was a wonderfully quaint little hotel that reminded us of years gone by. The staff was very kind and helpful and it was very clean. Just exactly what we needed.

That we had to park away from the hotel on the street. As it turned out, we found a space very nearby’s, but if it had been late or even just after dark, that would’ve been a no go for us.

Not worth it

AC was nice and cold.

Extremely noisy, bed is not a queen but a full, shower was tiny, a ton of light gets in the room as they do not have curtains. No one on site after 6pm.

Perfectly adequate little hotel

The location. Amazing, quiet, quaint Coral Gables area. Trolley stops right outside the hotel and then there are buses and metrorail that gets you pretty much anywhere you wanna go in Miami and Miami beach. There are lots of little cafes and restaurants nearby and all so good. The hotel itself is perfectly fine, exceptionally clean.

What I missed was having cutlery and proper ceramic mugs available in the room.

Modest property in a good location in Coral Gables

Central location in Coral Gables. I like that the room has a small refrigerator and a microwave. It is an older property, but very clean.

no complaints but no elevator. they did offer assistance with my bags to an upper floor.

Good hotel for an overnight stay while in transit

Friendly and helpful on reception desk. Very clean room in Art Deco style. Comfortable bed. 15 minute taxi ride from the airport

We had a front facing room but there was a lot of road noise. No breakfast available.

This place is more of a motel than a hotel, even down to the motel-style key.

location is great but there’s no parking.

Got the room right at the top of the stairs from reception. TV was set so that you can’t adjust the volume.
