I expected a microwave, but I did get what I paid for. Wi-Fi kept going in and out. Plus the first night Television cable went out about 11PM -12 AM

No microwave It is accounted as cooking A refrigerator is provided. Why not have a compact microwave.

It was a no-frills, basic accommodation that suited our budget. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were the best part of our stay.

The bedsheet in our room hadn't been changed. There was hair and debris on it when we arrived. This was very strange as changing bedsheets after the previous guest has left should be housekeeping 101. The pool was murky and had sand at the bottom. It looked like it wasn't cleaned very often. One of the cupboard doors under our kitchenette was missing (looked like it broke off and was never replaced). There was a beautiful garden in the back but the back of it was littered with trash. It shouldn't be hard to keep a property this size clean. Also I wish the hotel was trying to be more green. There was no option to have them not replace our towels everyday other than to leave the 'do not disturb' sign on the door when we left for the day. Our towels don't need to be washed/replaced everyday and they could save a lot of money on detergent and electricity if they offered that option, like a lot of hotels these days do.

People were very nice. A nice walk to the beach.

We could not see the controls on the air conditioner. When we did it was fine.
