The best host in Toroni !

Everything was wexcellent ! Mr. Mario and his team are the best hosta ever ! Cleanles is 12 from 10! Hospitality is on the highest level. Location was excellent !

Maybe wifi should be better so everything is perfect :)

Nothing like the photos

The rusty refrigerator. The lack of privacy and sun light. There was a lot of sand on the floor when we came. Very poor quality for the price.

Convenient location (beach close by, but far from the hassle and bustle) and great size apartment.

Friendly staff, great size room, newly refurbished bathroom, balcony and beds. Great touch to have a barbecue that guests can use and picnic tables as well.

Dated fridge and no microwave, not that I would have used the microwave.

Not the worst place to stay, but not the best either...

The first room with the horrible bathroom had a nice spacious private veranda. Both rooms and beds were satisfactory. The location was nice, it was near the beach. There were plugs near the beds and in other convenient locations in the room.

The first room we were given was quite nice, but the bathroom didn't have enough light or a shower door and we hate mopping the bathroom floor while on holiday or stepping on soggy bathmats, so we asked for a room change. I must mention here that the bathroom we got wasn't in any of the pics on Booking.com . At first we were told there were no vacant rooms, but the next day we were given a new room. The bathroom was much better but the wifi was non existent. Another minus was the cleaning lady who shouted and banged everything in the rooms she was cleaning. Finally in the two days we were in the new room, nobody cleaned our room, or changed the bed sheets or brought us fresh towels.

I am not recommending this place to anyone. The worst place in Toroni

First of all, the pictures are misleading, and booking.com must act! At the main premise there is NO GARDEN at all! So if u have children forget this place. We had many times no electricity, and for more than 24 hours no hot water (see the picture how we got to hot water), and “the owner” didn’t understand the problem. The owner Mario just said, sorry I ran out of Diesel! So the house is really “ecofriendly”. So not even a sign of sustainability in this house. And the waste management is another story. After our holiday I was asking the owner to reimburse the cost because several times we had no hot water and no electricity – he simply said that we used too much bedsheets and towels. The fact is - they didn’t provide regular enough bed linen for and towels for all guests. I make my holiday for more than 10 years in Greece. Villa Maria was the worst place I have ever been.

One should avoid this place. Rude owner, that doesn't care about essentials: hot water & electricity

One should avoid this place. Rude owner, that does not care about the essentials: hot water and electricity in his villa. There was not hot water for more than two days. The owner had simply one sorry - nothing else for leaving babies and elderly people without hot water. We were missing the garden, that was our main criteria to come to this place. If you have the feeling that the Villa is directly on the beach, it is also wrong. Basically you can’t use the balcony because it stinks in the morning from the LKW cisterns for the waste management. We realized it too late, but for the money you can get much better accommodation in Toroni – especially places that one can approach much easily. We had to park our car far away from the Villa. I am not recommending this place to anyone.

Nice place in a small village

Bungalows were pretty nice. Main building is good too. Close to beach and main street. They have their own beach bar too.

There was an air condition just in front of the bed, which was a little problem. Have to move furniture to sleep. Also they made some mistake with rooms and need to move , but that is also not a big deal… Village is small and the few restaurants are not very good… Beach is 6 out of 10 on my scale for Greece. People around only from Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia :)

Friendly staff, great location

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and specious with a vie towards the sea. They gave us a card with a discount for the beach bar right across the street. The place has a great location, nearby the Main Street. Highly recommend!

Superb

Nice location - right in the village centre, without noise from the beach and the streets, very clean and tidy. The price for the value was great. The parking spot was also a plus. The beach bar was the best one in Toroni.

We had a kitchenette that we tried to avoid.

Best sunsets view in Toroni

The apartment was amazing, situated on top floor of the building with very beautiful view over the local beach and sunsets. The terrace was huge and you could enjoy the sunbeds or a glass of whine at sunset. The local beach is a few steps away from the apartment building and also local shops and taverns are in a few miters range.

The perfect summer holiday to recharge batteries

The friendly atmosphere in laid-back Toroni, the beach, which is perfect for small kids and adults alike, the tasteful decoration of the rooms and common areas in Villa Maria, the Beach Bar that belongs to the property, the closeness to everything you need (beach, tavernas, supermarket, playground), the hike to the Cannons, the stunning sunsets and, certainly not least - our host's commitment to taking very good care of his guests.

There's room for improvement in terms of eco-friendliness/sustainability, more generally in the area (e.g. recycling, avoiding single use plastics, littering...)

Pleasant

we stayed in the suite which was renovated - the accommodation is in the center of the area and near the beach , very comfortable if you have a family and you don’t want to move with a car.

apart from the renovated room , there are no hotel facilities at all - for example no water or coffee to buy for your room , no breakfast. Room was cleaned once for the total of 5 days we stayed . Also the facility is quite noisy because it is more than a private house turned into a accommodation facility and also the street outside is very noisy from the early morning hours , so we had to close the balcony and sleep with an air conditioning.
