One of the best !!!

The hotel is beautiful, the staff was so friendly and attentive. Everything eas GREAT!! The beach was so beautiful. My family enjoy this experience to the fullest. God first we will come back!!

My only complaint was at check in there was a mix up with the type of room I booked and the lady at the front desk her name was Angy was not very accommodating and the front desk manager never show up to try and help us with the matter. Checking took about an hour The excuse they use was " we can't do much since you book through a third party" this is an expensive 5 start hotel you would think they will do anything to accommodate you but that was not the case.

Makellos saubere Unterkunft. Weltbester SPA. Tolles Restaurant mit herzlichem Personal, welches einem sehr gut umsorgt. Ein besonderer Dank gilt Louisa und ihrem Team. Ich konnte mich wunderbar erholen.

Preisniveau viel zu hoch. Beispielsweise kostet der Flughafentransfer in einem geteilten Auto 55 Dollar. Bei diesen Preisen sollte ein kostenloser Shuttle angeboten werden. Beim Strand legen sich Leute vor den abgesperrten Strandabteil und benehmen sich nicht immer gut. Hier müsste das Hotel wirklich durchgreifen.

Luxury property but dropped the ball on some of the basics that make a difference. AC, Bedding, Towels

Staff Location Amenities

1. The second night of a four night stay, the AC didn’t work in the bedroom of the condo. Maintenance visited, adjusted HVAC but still didn’t work. Temps were high and ceiling fan didn’t offer much comfort. 2. The shower pressure was a drip. Had to request maintenance (2x’s) adjust. 3. Housekeeping didn’t add flat sheets between comforter and fitted sheet on sofa bed and main bed. 4. We noted that we would have 4 people in the room but housekeeping only provided towels and robes for 2 people

Fantastic service in a great resort

The staff were absolutely brilliant. Very friendly, helpful and going above and beyond in all instances.

As we went in the off season some of the kids’ games rooms weren’t available and there were a few building / snagging works ongoing. But I think this was linked to the season and it still being a very new resort.

Lovely short stay at a newly renovated resort.

The newly renovated hotel is lovely, clean and beautiful. When we stayed they had only been re-opened for under a week and our stay was unexpected due to having to leave a different resort. The room was spacious, the service was excellent and the meals were great. We did a morning at the spa and it was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. While we stayed there could not have been more than 20 rooms book, so you felt like you had the entire property to yourself and this may have an impact on our experience and rating as we did not have to wait for anything and there were plenty of locations poolside or beach front to use.

Of course the cost is something to consider. I felt like we got good value for what was offered but this is definitely how a budget friendly option for many.

Everything was outstanding, the staff was exceptional in every way

I would have loved to have options to choose the kind of bed in the room, like orthopedic or semi or soft beds. There was no option to choose and my room had a super soft bed, too soft that it was uncomfortable most of the time

Awesome place

Breakfast awesome. Omelet station for made to order breakfast. Eat right on the beach. One bedroom oceanfront was spacious, updated and modern, and had great view of daily sunset. Snorkeling right off beach was amazing. Fishing was incredible, mahi and tuna all morning.

Superb

The customer service was excellent. The servers in restaurant were top notch. Breakfast was great. Location is amazing especially for snorkeling.

The rooms were very damp, hard to sleep when bedding feels damp. The furniture felt a bit dated. My room said ocean view. It was definitely not an ocean view. You could see bits and pieces of the ocean through the trees. I would have labeled it jungle or tropical view. Please educate your customers on the bugs. Although bug spray is provided I truly had no idea i was getting hundreds of bites. Couldn’t feel or see them. Please tell people to use spray no matter what.

Breakfast was great, love the view during breakfast. Love the room with a sea view. Love that you can snorkel right from the beach at the hotel.

it’s under renovation and there’s a lot of construction noise, smells, some areas are slippery I fell twice down stairs.

dream vacation

It was an incredible experience. I will definitely go back to sleep. The service was very good. Everything at a high and especially friendly level. Rich breakfast with a view of the clean beach and the blue sea.

I don't know what to write here. I personally was satisfied with everything.

Awesome week with our grandchildren, can’t wait to return

best location in West Bay. you really don’t need to pay to go diving, the reef is 50 yards off the beach and it’s like an aquarium, right there at the hotel. the servers in the restaurant and pool bar were exceptional. A big thanks to Jimmy, Alex, Orbelinda, Sherly, Luisa, Elton, and Victor, they were awesome. we will be going back to the Grand Roatan

I like that the resort was at the end of west bay. love the infinity pool

didn’t like that there was construction and also that the hot water didn’t always work in the showers

the Room was Clean, comfortable and a good size, it had a stove, refrigerator, table etc… and the view was nice.

i think it’s overpriced, the way that the hotel is built it’s kinda hard to get around, my room was way too far away from the pool. the hotel is currently under construction so i could hear from my bed room people talking and machines going off and on, they only have one restaurant which is so small and basic, the breakfast was horrible, the taste was bad and not a lot to pick from, I’ve had a better experience at Paradaise Beach Hotel and the price is way less than this. the location is better also. in conclusion it needs a lot of improvement to charge the price they charge.

Beautiful resort, a bit pricey compared to others we have stayed in the Caribbean, we would return

Location was amazing, best spot on the beach. The staff was very friendly and went out of there way to be helpful.

Lots of construction. There was a big wedding on Friday night with the reception by the pool and they started setting up in the morning. Because of this there were no pool chairs all day. it was also very loud music at night.

This was my third stay in Roatan and Grand Roatan tops all of the places I've stayed. The resort is well laid out, rooms are spacious, staff is friendly and helpful, and the view is spectacular!

We enjoyed everything.

Superb

Overall the property was beautiful!! We had an amazing time. The rooms were clean and tidy.

They were doing construction so the noise was kinda irritating. One time they were pounding at 10:30 at night. They do not tell you this on their website it will be going on for another two years so keep that in mind when booking. The other thing is they do not have a gym like it says on their website either. The beach towel situation can be better you have to go to the office every time you go to the beach to get cards to than take to the beach. If you do not know this and already on the beach it’s a walk to the office and can be irritating. So I feel like they should come up with a better towel system.
