If you seek for silence - this is not the place for it

The room looks very nice, very comfortable bed.nice pool on the top floor. The reception workers and the security guy were very nice and welcoming. The hotel is located not so far from the 5th avenue and yet far enough from it's noise.... but! It is definitely not a 5* hotel. What we did not know is that instead of lobby there is a restaurant (good one, but that's not the case), and as you can guess a restaurantl plays music for it's clients. But loud one, until late, so you cant rest at noon or early in the evening quietly. Our room was on the 1st floor, in front of the stairs and the elevator and we heard EVERYTHING. The door is not isolated, there is a big gap from the floor. Also the rastaurant/one of the workers phone kept ringing and we heard that even tought the balcony door was closed. I wanted to enjoy the bathtub and the music was so loud... not peaceful as expected. Very noisy guests were yelling few nights and it seems like the hotel workers do nothing about it.

Amazing stay!

Really in the city center of Playa Del Carmen what made it easy to go to the beach or do some shopping and sightseeing. Also the room was clean and nice.

Nothing we didn't like, just a comment: we arrived at 1PM and had to wait until 3PM to check-in, it's written but would've been nice if they made an exception since the room was already cleaned and ready.

Clean, quiet and comfy beds. Big shower, nice rooftop and really friendly and helpful staff. Great location too, close to beach and restaurants.

Good staff, service and cleanliness.

There is a VERY noisy fight club across the street and our room and balcony was overlooking it. Thus, all the noise started very early in the morning (general ”motivational” yelling and incessant bell ringing) which got very tiresome very fast. Apart from this, we had a great stay.

One day there was some problem in the kitchen, we could choose only sandwich or quesadilla for a breakfast we didnt receive any other option :(

Superb

The room was well cleaned. We liked the balcony and the rooftop pool was great.

The bed was not that comfortable.. There is not a single glass in the room. None of the bars were working at the rooftop bar..

Very nice little hotel.

Perfect location. Nice and clean pool and comfortable beds on the rooftop and in the room. Very friendly staff!

Noise from the construction across the street started at 7:30 am every day except Sunday. Not so bad but annoying.

Good location and good value for money

Friendly staff. Location is very good and close to the main restaurants. Even though we didn't have time to enjoy the spa, facilities looked really good.

Housekeeping was not all the time done on time.

Great location,and great value

The location and staff specifically the security guy at the door were really great.

2 things first the wi-fi was horrible in the room. In the presidential suite I’m disappointed how bad it was. Second the way my guest was treated was not nice. They told her she had to leave by 6PM and we had invited her and 2 other families to celebrate my birthday. Kind of made it a lame night

Very good location, lovely staff, we really enjoyed this hotel!

Good location in playa del Carmen, close to 5th street but still pretty quiet! Roof top pool is nice! The staff is lovely but some of the security have poor English.

Do not expect a 5 star resort, because it is not. However it is a very good hotel if you lower you expectations! The pressure in the shower was quite low.

Avoid if you are disabled and require accessibility features

The manager of the hotel was very apologetic, but at the end, Booking did not refund the fees despite inaccurately describing the wheelchair accessibility of both the hotel and the room assigned

For a wheelchair user, it is essential that hotels accurately disclose the quality and type of accessibility features, as failing to do so can not only make a disabled tourist experience uncomfortable, but also could prove extremely dangerous - for example, a poorly designed bathroom can cause a fall. The ramp entrance of the hotel was extremely steep, and required the help of the bellboys to use. The bathroom was extremely narrow, and it was impossible to do a wheelchair to toilet transfer safely. This was in direct contradiction to what Booking had disclosed in terms of accessibility. To add insult to injury, neither the cable nor the wifi worked. So not only was the disabled traveler stuck in a room, but also without any means to entertain yourself.

Everything about the room and service provided! I love the check-out time, not too early. I would definitely stay here again! Most things are at a walking distance!

Not bad but could find somewhere better

The rooftop pool and bar were really nice, actually looked like the pictures

The rooms don’t really look like the pictures neither does the hotel (except for the rooftop pool which does look really nice). Our Wi-Fi in the room only worked one out of three nights, when asked reception for help they just said it just happens sometimes unfortunately so wasn’t much help. The towels and bedding wasn’t super clean, and some of it looked very old. No hairdryers in the room either. Breakfast is served super late so if you want to do a tour you can’t get the breakfast.

The hotel was perfectly located in the center. The breakfast delicious with several salty and sweet options.

The staff wasn’t always available and sometimes they passed in front of us without saying anything. I ve never seen a breakfast beginning at 9 a.m, too late. All the time I asked for recommendations only one receptionist was nice and helped us, the other ones before answering always looked at me weirdly and I felt not accepted, mostly as a problem for them. they didn’t really help us with the luggage only at the end when we were already almost at the elevator, they were 3 at the reception at that time. When we entered the room looked clean, then we get on the shower and the shower the shower head was dirty. we stayed only 2 nights but all the time we get to the room there was a smell of humidity a very bad smell. I didn’t really told to the reception about all that because I wasn’t feeling comprehensive by the staff. Another thing we got a room in the court and the second night. our last night, (it was a Monday), some guests did a lot a lot of noise until 4 a.m.

My room was perfect to take a nice deep bath after a long day, the layout was minimalistic with a beautiful touch of Mex
