Le bruit de la discothèque jusqu'à 2 heures du matin chaque soir même au deuxième étage impossible de dormir.
Nous avions réservé une chambre familiale pour 4, nous avons été reçu dans une chambre pour deux avec un lit d'appoint et avons dû dormir dans le lit double 3 car l'hôtel était complet sans aucune remise accordée.

Apart from location nothing i liked
Disappointing Stay: A 5-Star Hotel Lacking Basic Amenities
As a frequent traveler, I had high expectations when booking a stay at Wyndham old city hotel, touted as a luxurious 5-star establishment. However, my experience fell far short of the mark, leaving me utterly disappointed and dissatisfied.
Upon arrival, it became evident that the hotel's claim to 5-star status was grossly exaggerated. The lobby, while aesthetically pleasing, lacked the grandeur and sophistication one would expect from a top-tier hotel. The check-in process was lackluster, with staff members appearing disinterested and indifferent to guest needs.
Entering the room, any hopes of a comfortable stay were quickly dashed. Despite the exorbitant price tag, the room felt cramped and outdated, reminiscent of a budget motel rather than a luxury hotel. The air conditioner, supposedly a hallmark of comfort in any upscale accommodation, was woefully inadequate, failing to cool the room adequately. As a result, I spent restless nights sweltering in the oppressive heat, unable to find respite even under the thin sheets provided.
Adding insult to injury, a noticeable leakage outside the door marred the hallway, creating an unsightly and potentially hazardous environment. It was evident that maintenance was sorely lacking, a stark contrast to the impeccable standards one would expect from a 5-star establishment.
The washroom, touted as a sanctuary of cleanliness and relaxation, was a source of further disappointment. The pervasive stench of sewage permeated the air, overpowering any attempt at enjoyment or relaxation. It was evident that cleanliness standards were severely lacking, with grime and mildew evident in the corners and crevices.
Overall, my stay at Wyndham Istanbul old city was a regrettable experience marred by subpar amenities, lackluster service, and a general disregard for guest comfort.

The location is good if you want to be around the old city
Very old amenities. Far from a 5* hotel but that’s what you get when in Istanbul apart from Ciragan Palace and W Hotel

The location is great (walking distance to tourist places, tram and metro), the breakfast was very good, apartment clean and all what we needed- pool (for the kids) fitness ( for me) and sauna (for my husband). I really recommend it.

The location is perfect for public transportation users like me, metro station is few steps away and the tram station is 500m away also, taxis are available around the clock, many grocery shops and minimarkets were few steps away as well for daily usage, the staff was welcoming and very helpfuel, especially Mr. Mehmet at the reception, who helped us with free early check-in and breakfast at 8:00am (the usual checkin is 2:00pm!), the room was too small but i guess it was enough if you use a hotel room as a bed and bath like we do, clean and tidey, fridge, iron, hair dryer, TV, all there, we didnt miss a thing, the view of the window was a back street but from the second floor it wasnt a problem, breakfast was ok, the swiming pool was clean and children friendly, over all we had nothing to complain about for the budget we invested, and would consider it for sure in our next stay in Istanbul.

Staff was genuinly kind and very helpful. We had an upgrade.. we felt like kings. We were helped among others by El Muhammed and by Murat Captan.
We hope to return one day and can highly recommand.

The staff was quite nice, the value for money it's very good because of low prices.
Everything seems quite old and it would welcome a bit more of manteinaince.
We didn't like very much the breakfast due to poor selection of jiuces (the ones there were low quality ones) and sweets, but that's probably because we were expecting european-style ones.
Anyway it offered a nice selection of other food.

Friendly staff specially the gentleman who called Esmaeel which was very helpful and caring.
The cleaning was very good.The hotel internal decoration was fab.
The bookings.com had caused some problems for us as they didn’t let our guests who arrived early than us to get to their rooms despite the fact that I sent over an email stated that we would pay the hotel cost as we get there few hours later on.That experience was not pleasant and was rather disappointing since we had as little as ten months old baby to an elderly lady among our guests who had been left out up to seven hours in lobby area.It’s worth mentioning that the hotel staff’s were managed to get sorted out our problems by offering us some extra helps and services.

Good points: 1st two nights were great as I assume the nightclub next door wasn't open. the location is close to all the major tourist spots and only a few yards to the metro. The staff were friendly and polite. We loved the double jacuzzi and comfy beds, Also, the rooms are cleaned and towels/bedding changed daily.
We had a room on floor W (double jacuzzi suite) but the noise from the nightclub next door was unbearable and only finished at 3 in the morning. We requested to move rooms which we did but were moved to a smaller room on 1st floor with only a bowl of fruit as compensation. Be aware that if you want to use the pool you will have to purchase a swimming cap (only applies to women from what I could I see). Also be aware that the concierge pounces on you the moment you arrive to try to sell the tours at very inflated prices to what you can easily book for yourself elsewhere.
We never received the Istanbul travel card which was advertised but didn't ask for it either.

had to move rooms 3 times. 1st room was not the room I reserved, second room was next to a party going on till three in the morning vibrated the walls, and then breakfast was served and chairs were scraped across the ceiling. no hand soap, floors were dirty. Drapes did not cover the windows. Air conditioning did not work.

The room was very small and it was not suitable for a family. Too many noises from other occupants as the room was located where any one can see who is inside the room if you don't put curtains on.

Proximité veille ville et hotel relativement tranquille avec des bars et restaurants sympa a proximité
Le manque de réactivité du personnel pour réparer la fuite d'eau a la douche..rappel fait tous les jours et toujours pas réparer a notre départ. l arnaque au repas de la saint valentin a 100 e pour 2 pers et on s'est retrouver a 200 personnes serrés comme des sardines sur un bateau.. bonjour le romantisme !!!! quelle arnaque!

The location was perfect (an easy 25 minute walk to the shopping, museum and sites) .
Unfortunately the pool on the roof wasn’t in use due to the weather otherwise the inside pool was good enough .
The fact that our room had no windows (this was an oversight on my part) our bathroom had a leek which they attended to right away (but that’s all I didn’t like about our room). Otherwise the property is ok and I would recommend it.

A great swimming pool with salty water, various saunas and a gym.
Breakfast was okay.
DO NOT book the 2-floor apartment (rooms No 6001-6009). It is a nice room, but it is located exactly under a bar and every night we had to listen to extremely loud music until 01 o'clock.
