Staff was super nice, clean hotel

The curtains were to short for the window and it let a lot of light in

Proximity to my business, restaurants, The rooms of themselves were great I could live there for months. The kitchens were nice the rooms were new it seems.

The hallways and stairWells Needed cleaning. floor in my room 331 was dirty just needed to be vacuumed it had loose schmutz everywhere. 5am the traffic gets loud, it's a busy area, lots of work, workers, and trucks.

The hotel rooms are great, I could live there months on end. Perfect size, kitchen is great. It was 4 miles from my business. Uber happened to be within minutes everytime I needed a ride. I might have gotten lucky there. This morning Uber driver was literally 3 minutes away. I could walk to get food really close by.

There are no sidewalks in the area, you have to mosh around traffic a bit. It's a busy area with work and workers and trucks....so around 5am the traffic picks up pretty heavy. I'm a light sleeper so didn't get to sleep in as much as I'd like. The common hallway areas and stairwells need a good daily vacuum and cleaning. They were a mess as was the floor in my room. Seems vacuuming it would NOT take long, no carpets in room which is fine, the wood floor stuff is great/ easy to keep clean. Just need to clean up the loose Schmutz. My socks got covered in debris walking around the room. Then I'd lay on top the bed to watch some tube and zone out. Next thing I realized I was tracking all the Schmutz into bed. Clean those hallways too. Carpets in hallways, stairwells were a mess. Otherwise the place was clean seemed new. I stayed in 2 different rooms this trip. One bathroom (room 331) had a cabinet thingy that was falling off the wall.

We stay in the back of the motel on the first floor so that we can take our 2 small dogs out to potty. However, the back door was broken. Kitchen sink sprayed water and bathroom sink faucet was ringed with dirt.

Michelle the front desk help was the most gracious house out of the whole set of employees, she genuinely cares for the guests. The others are complete opposite, very unknowledgable, rude, and don't care to visit again.

Prices changing, charged me for a two bed that sleeps 2-4 and then later charge me additional charge for my daughter, talking about after the 2nd person they charge $10 a person after. Why would a married couple need a two bed alone. We sleep in a bed my daughter sleeps in other , so why charge $10 more. The room was fitted for us three in the beginning. But always they charge something not aware of and out of sorts.

No fault of the motel, but this is clearly a newly developing area without a lot of dining options (other than fast food). I picked this location because I didn't want to be in central Reno as I passed through the area. I look forward to future developments in the area. Also, I did not like the fact that my room window could not be opened. I prefer rooms with windows that open to the outside.
