Beautiful, luxurious room/ chalet. Amazing view.

This place is such a gem in the Monteverde area. Worth every penny. Jose has a genuine knack for hospitality. He helped us make the most of our few days in the mountains. The rooms have an amazing view and were very clean. The grounds are well kept and beautiful too. 11/10.

We were greeted by Gustavo who was the nicest and most helpful person. He immediately set us up for our excursions (which started 40 mins after arrival...and served us lunch before we left). He gave us the best recommendations for things to do in the area. The room was huge and very clean, the bed was also huge and extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast and lunch were also fantastic and the staff went above and beyond. The view from the room was exceptional!! This hotel was also not far from downtown but far enough to get away from all the noise. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family!

This chalet is beautiful, the view was incredible. The Italian restaurant is wonderful.

We would have liked to be able to walk to town in the evening bit felt that no pavement wasn't very safe.

there is a power line right in front of the view obstructing the view of the valley below which is conveniently understated. there are no real amenities other than the garden and the breakfast options are very limited. Staff even put up hotel laundry outside my villa window.

Spectacular view, and great restaurant. Easy to travel to other places in Monteverde, happy it's located just a bit out of the over crowded downtown. One night the sunset was beyond believe beautiful!

Room was fantastic—spacious, well-appointed, very comfortable bed, incredible views. Having the restaurant on site (great dinner) was super convenient.

As others have mentioned, a bit noisy when windy since the rooms are so exposed.

The most breathtaking view and just a wonderful place. José (the owner) and the crew were amazing and very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. I felt at home 🙏❤️ The room was huge and looked exactly as on the pictures. Would definitely recommend the massage! Best one I ever had in my life. I had the most wonderful time at this beautiful place in Monteverde. Thank you José and team!

The room was absolutely incredible. It had great views of the valley across from the hotel, the property was quiet, and the bed was the best I had slept on during my entire 11 day trip. Jose was an amazing host and always made sure everything was up to par.

Breakfast was okay, I wish there was a bit more variety but I'm also a little picky when it comes to food. The fruit and yogurt was good though!

beautiful large room with nice view. quiet area 2 miles outside downtown. very friendly owner. great restaurant (excepting expensive wine list) so no need to go out at night. very friendly and efficient owner.

The location is perfect, it's actually a lookout spot so in the evening people drive up to the fields next to the hotel to watch the sunset - you will not get a more perfect view. We actually saw a couple get engaged at the sunset. The rooms are incredible, big beautiful rooms with great facilities and showers, very private feel due to the cabin style lay out. The breakfast is also lovely, the staff are so helpful, even helped book loads of tours and recommended lots of things to do whilst we were there. I can not recommend this place enough, it is definitely 5 star accommodation.

As with most places in Costa Rica it helps if you have a car as this is slightly out of the town centre.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The location is incredible, the view from the restaurant/ your unit can not be beat. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Breakfast was free if you pay in cash, and it was delicious- fresh fruit juice and fruit platter, plus your choice of 3 breakfasts. We are vegetarians and they were happy to accommodate that, making us veggie omelettes instead of ham. We also had dinner here- the pizza was super tasty, salad was fresh, excellent all around. Beds were very comfy, shower was great, loved it all!

Be prepared to be damp and bring changes of clothes- due to the weather here clothes left to dry overnight didn't quite dry! This is just the nature of the cloud forest, the hotel itself is perfection. BE ADVISED- the manager told us booking.com takes 30% of the profits!!! If possible book through tripadvisor/ directly with the hotel, covid has been hard on the tourist industry in CR and they could use your $$.

the view is beautiful, so are the rooms.

The hotel is just next to a rather noisy road. Also, the restaurant onsite is completely overpriced and the food is very disappointing.
