Completely awful

Location: perfect Cleaness: not bad

Reception: The lady receptionist was hands down the worst receptionist I've ever encountered—just talking with her left me feeling exhausted and completely soured our stays at Meriton. She was blunt, arrogant, and extremely unfriendly. No Housekeeping Service: I've stayed at several Meriton branches across Australia more than 10 times, and I've never experienced a situation where the reception claimed "only one housekeeping is available." Throughout the four nights of our stay, we only received one service after paying $310 per night. That was very disappointing. Moreover, when they said that the sevice's done, I even had to change the bed sheets myself since they just left the new sheet on the bed. My girlfriend and I are huge fans of Meriton, but our experience at Meriton Sussex was a complete letdown. The receptionists there seemed clueless about customer service and lacked any sort of protocol. Even the housekeeper who came to fix the stove addressed me as 'bro and said what's wrong'. While I don't mind that, it's not something you'd expect from a 5 star hotel with customer manuals.

Was an excellent stay, the room was great and the facilities were outstanding.

Excellent location , within walking distance of the CBD and Darling Harbour

Although the room was at the back of the Hotel and was very quiet the was no Harbour view.

Found our new home when next in Sydney. Walked to Queen Victoria Building and Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay for Saturday

Everything. It was better than I thought it would be. Very comfortable close to everything we wanted to do and see. Great cafe on corner for breakfast.

Nice apartment in a good location but was not as self-sufficient as expected.

Location great. Bed linen and bed super comfortable. Nice spacious apartment. Good appliances including nice large fridge/freezer and great laundry facilities and kept very clean. Staff very helpful.

The kitchen was poorly equipped - hardly any pans and preparation items for making snacks/meals. We could only find one frying pan and large mixing bowl. No small utensils other than basic cutlery items. Would have been useful to have small basin, jug, grater, saucepan etc. A good range of appliances but could not be fully utilised. Ate out more than intended. Also, nowhere to store dry larder items such as cereals, biscuits, crisps etc other than work table. No cupboard space. Not enough crockery to use the dishwasher economically. Nowhere to hang towels to dry in bathroom, had to ask for an airer which had to have in the lounge area. Noisy at times as close to a service cupboard which was accessed frequently in the morning. The view. Lounge window looked onto another high rise being renovated.

Good value for price

Rooms were nice and spacious and it was in a great location. The staff were lovely.

Rooms aren’t serviced for short stays. The hotel ran out of coffee pods for the in room coffee machines. You had to organise fresh towels each day. Twice over the weekend the shower has no hot water.

I would never go back again

The location was really good and convenient

The AC did not work .. asked staff to fix this and was told it can not be fixed .. was offered a fan which never made it to the room .. the room never got changed .. the manager Brooke and Jasper were not helpful at all .. $840 for two night totally not worth it..

Fab location, very clean and modern! Lovely apartment and we were very comfortable for our 5 night stay. Would definitely rebook if we ever return to Sydney!

Good location - good restaurants nearby

The suite was perfect for our needs and we had most of the things we needed for a homestay-like experience. Amenities were always delivered to our room promptly. We could walk to a number of good restaurants and the supermarket is also within walking distance.

The bedroom was not an ensuite so it was slightly troublesome to walk out of the room to get to the toilet in the middle of the night. The king bed in a queen room also meant there was only space for one bedside table, and therefore access to the wall plug only on that side.

Kiwis at The Meriton

We LOVED staying here. We were treated really well from the moment we got there. We were a little bit lost outside and a kind staff member showed us the way in and helped with our bags. We absolutely loved the pool and used it often. Being so close to everything was really convenient for us, we were able to look around town and get back to our room without it being a big hassle. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Amazing staff and facilities.

Great location, some little niggles which if improved would make this place a 10/10.

The location was really good. Literally 10 minutes walk from everything. Town Hall station close by so easy to travel around. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was surprisingly comfortable too.

We specifically booked an apartment building with a pool. We were so so disappointed that the pool at the complex was freezing! Not just cold but shockingly so. Was totally un-useable. We also were disappointed the balcony of our apartment was actually an enclosed glass room with two windows that opened a couple of inches. We couldn't sit in it to enjoy the view as was too hot and stuffy. Was frustrating our apartment was supplied with just one days supplies so had to constantly call down to request more towels, tea and coffee, and kitchen supplies. We also had nowhere to put the used towels as the linen chute was locked. They just piled up in the corner instead.

Great location in Sydney and perfect layout for a family.

Overall, a great experience. Would definitely stay again. The 3 bedroom layout was perfect for our family of 6. The parent's bedroom and with en suite bathroom was on one side of the unit, and two identical bedrooms were on the opposite side. I liked that the beds could be configured as a king or two twins. This was great for our son and daughter who were sharing a bedroom and did not want to share a bed! Very comfortable beds, pillows and linens. Fully equipped kitchen with laundry. Front desk was great with supplying extra toiletries, umbrellas, etc. Great location and view of the harbor. We checked out the indoor pool, spa and sauna. Only complaint was that the spa wasn't very hot. Would chose Meriton Suites again - definitely better than trying to fit a large family in a traditional hotel room.

Everything was really great. The spa was not as hot as most "hot tubs", but no other complaints.

Great except for noisy air con

Location.(quiet) Comfortable stay

The air conditioner was very noisy and the fan could not be turned off off. The room was quite warm when we turned it off so we had to sleep with it on. Could be heard even though we used ear plugs and resulted in a sleepless night

房間望出去的景色很美, 空間配置舒適, 櫃檯服務人員親切, 地理位置也很方便,不管是離輕軌、超市、QVB都很近(但有個坡要爬)

小問題：我們此次4人入住, 房內盒裝面紙較少, 請櫃檯補充, 櫃檯很貼心給了一袋茶包、沐浴乳、洗碗洗衣精…等備品,但就是沒有給面紙⋯需要多次詢問後才有送來。另外室內游泳池非溫水, 蠻冰冷的,且SPA水質感覺較髒。不過瑕不掩瑜, 其他方面飯店表現還是很優秀的👍🏻
